no clue why they call singapore mee hoon by that name when you can get the dish all over malaysiathe mee hoon was good because it was soft fluffy and not stuck to one anotherso the chef skill in controlling temperature and quantity of oil was very precisetoo hot and it'll burn. too oily and it'll just be soggythe mee hoon had bits of vegetables, slices of chicken meat and some prawns

i love pork and yamthe sauce is so delicious you can eat it with so much white rice and you'll keep asking for morethe pork can be quite fatty so those of you who aren't to fanciful with fatty pork you may not like this dishthe yam was well cooked it was tender and didn't have the sand pappery texture anymoreits soft and u can easily mush it up like mashed potatoes.there was also one big cabbage leave at the bottom as garnish perhaps

the pork can be quite fatty so those of you who aren't to fanciful with fatty pork you may not like this dish
the yam was well cooked it was tender and didn't have the sand pappery texture anymore

some people may find clams and mussels disgustingwell rightfully so because they play in the mud, they eat mud in the ocean base and now we eat them.of course its disgusting not to mention the slimy feeling as well.all that aside, the lala soup was not too badi always liked soup based dishesthe lala were medium in size nothing to shout aboutthe soup had a bit of peppery taste because of the ginger

this is a crazy expensive fishwho ever said that seafood at beach side or island is cheaper is a liecomplete myth in fact i think it's more expensivea steam fish like that came out to Rm80 and it wasn't even in a fancy restaurantit was an outdoor eating areathe steamed fish was in soy sauce and ginger to take away the fishy smelli didn't find the fish particularly fresh or sweet or large that warrantted the price

Hokkien me in pj and kl are usually with thick yellow noodle or mi hunBut we decided to go for ho funIt wasnt as good as the one in pj and kl cause I think it was lacking the pork lard which gives it the fragranceThe ho fun also was rather thicker and wider than the pj or kl ho funThe other ingredients include smal prawns and some green vegetablesThe picture above is for a two persons serving but its not filling for two people

Roo tian service was quite slow
It was very hard to get the waiters attention
