this is the other type of food you can never find in whether central or southern of malaysia, it is only a food from northern of malaysia. some people will curious of is it koay teow and koay chap is the same thing? actually it is not, koay teow is the type they fried with taoge but koay chap is the type they serve with many types of braised food such as braised egg, braised meat and others. so if you came to northern of malaysia, u can give a try of koay chap if you love strong herbal taste of soup. 繼續閱讀

Koay chap is a teochew style of food with lots of braised stuff. Like braised pork, braised duck, braised egg and braise soup. All this mixed together you get a nice koay chap. I cant really find a koay chap stall after i leave north malaysia. So when i come here, this place is like one of the place i must come to eat.
