Dim Sum
Review (1)
Dynasty Chinese Restaurant at Renaissance Hotel offers dim sum, set lunch menu, and also dinner, but I have only been there for dim sum with my family. The restaurant is quiet and there would be chinese instrumental songs playing in the background. The staffs were also nice and friendly. The egg tarts were really good. Despite their mini sizes, the crusts were fluffy and the egg mixture wasn't too sweet *thumbs up*The dish at the bottom left of the picture (fried prawn with chives?) is another recommendation. It is not too oily and tasty. The one, on the right, next to it is.. something with foie grass, garnished with some mayo. As a non-mayo fan, I do find it delicious, and the fu-chok was fried till crispy. The one next to the egg tarts were, ham sui kok, (salted dumplings), was good too.We also had char siew pao, siu mai and har kao, which were also good but pale in comparison to the honourable mentions above xD However, prawns were not used in siu mai, just pork.We also had shanghainese dumplings (siu long bao), which is different from other restaurants as the dumplings were served on a plate filled with broth. Each dim sum is priced less tham RM10 (RM8.80 and above) and we enjoyed our lunch here and would totally recommend this restaurant! continue reading
