Signature Dishes
Having said this many times and still standing by to the conclusion about these fusion restaurants is that whenever they start to gain some bit of popularity, they started localizing themselves. The ingredients for some of the western or fusion dishes are replaced with the similar kind in Malaysia and by doing so really deteriorate the quality of the dish itself. Even when not looking at sophisticated dishes, simple things like the mash potatoes can be quite a mess for them as well. The problem at this and some of the many other fusion restaurants is that they try so hard to manage so many dishes, both western and asian. In order to offer the extension of varieties on their menu, they need to have all ingredients ready in case there is a order at the kitchen. But what happens when no one ordered what’s prepared, or when something is not the best seller at the restaurant. When it is not a common dish to order, the chances is high that the ingredients would have been kept for quite a while already. So the lesson I adapted from this is to go for the common dishes many people would order. That way, at least the food is still in good form of taste and shape. I had a horrible experience when dining at the station one usj outlet and vowed never returning to it. It must be fate cause I had to visit the station one in damansara the next day. I guess these fusion chains already established their reputation so well whenever there is one in any enclave, it would be the popular meeting point. I stand firm on my verdict after ordering the same thing I always ordered. The chicken was dry and almost loosing the flavour of chicken and the mashed potato is really sourish. At least the mushroom soup is much better than the one in usj. The pumpkin soup would be the joke of the day as it did not taste pumpkin to me at all. More like a mix of remaining pumpkin soup that is insufficient in amount to be served being topped to the amount to be served with some of their soup of the day or some sort. Blindfold me and I won’t be able to tell if there is pumpkin in it

Station One Cafe @Dataran Sunway, Petaling Jaya. always my favourite hang out place and have many outlets but now getting lesser probably because the trend now everyone looking for new places to chill and mostly car and cafe like in jaya one and sunway giza or publika which is far more happening place to be. here in station one. price is reasonable and i like the service here, fast and come to your request quickly.the menu is variety, bread, noodle, rice and also the western food such as the cheese pizza. full of cheese melted on top and spread all on the pizza. fresh made and taste good too. the chicken chop and chicken maryland also good and also the drinks especially the blended drinksduring tea time they have promotion going on for only RM 4.90 3-6pm omelltte burger and also ice coffee.

说道station one cafe，我已经对它的食物没有任何期望了。hmm。。只能说每况日下！！！完全没有了以前刚开始营业的水准。可是，到station one 和杯水，聊个天，还是不错的。毕竟它的nestea还是很好喝。还有歌手驻唱。单喝水，不点餐。还可以啦！

I always love the drink at Station One especially the ice chilling jasmine tea, but was the food worth while?Ordered chicken chop just to be sure that it is safe and edible. The dish includes grilled chicken thigh topped with gravy, mash potato coleslaw and corn. Side dish were OK but can be further improve judging from the money we spent. The chicken however was rather disappointing. The gravy was watery and very dull in taste while the chicken was serves cold. The chicken was like half moist and half dry. I think the chicken was not marinated well or under marinated as well.

Station one is a cafe where you can have gathering, enjoy talking with your friends and play some mini games... I ordered this chicken chop with rice during my first visit there. I always heard bad comments about station one. It's not that bad after all. =D
