No doubt that K street has been one of the best restaurant for Korean savory. Korean food fans really must give this a try. Although I won't say I am a crazy fan of Korean food, but this is exceptional. They really serve yummy Korean food. I often order their Bulgogi beef noodle every time I visit. The ramen is always just nice, not soggy nor uncook. Serve with beef along with slight spicy soup but rich taste of beef. I recommend this to most of my friends whenever I bring them here and they also love this a lot! It really warms up your tummy with the heat and spiciness! People that have low tolerance to spicy food not encourageable to try.As for the service provided, I think it's alright. Keep in mind that it is always busy with customers as a lot people love to dine here, hence it's not encourageable to have large group of people due to limited table and sits. It is more of a place to dine good Korean food, while not a place for you to chill and relax, thus think twice if you consider this restaurant to catch up and do all the chatting instead of eating. continue reading

I went to Sunway Pyramid to have a new makeover of turning my hair auburn as I always wanted since young and finally found the courage to do it, especially since I am working in corporate field. I finally found a slightly more reasonable place called APT at Asian Avenue which charges RM 597 for Coloring+Perming+Treatment. After that, my friend joined me for dinner at Asian Avenue. Every time I come to Asian Avenue or Pyramid for that matter, I always end up eating at The Street Cafe or Ko Hyang as the price is very reasonable. This time round I tried the Jajang Noodles (RM 12.90) which surprised me with its incredible sauce. The sauce is so thick and nicely covers the whitish noodles mixed with chicken, corns and shredded cucumber. The noodles is simply amazing that I finished every bit of it.The side dish is also tasty coming with kimchi, and the best is the cabbage and shredded carrots with Japanese zucchini salad. The cold green tea costs RM 2.90. After service charge, the whole meal cost RM 16.60 with 5% Service Charge. The best time to come here is when you feel super hungry as they cook the food really fast.  continue reading

Homemade kimchi from The Street Cafe served with their bento set or came with the kimchi fried rice. Homemade kimchi here is still ok. Slightly sour but still good. I am not sure if this is refillable but it was too full for me to eat extra food so I didn't ask for a refil but I guess no. The street cafe has a lot of local staff handling but selling Korean cuisine. Menu is not really wide. continue reading

The first time I tried the Korean Street Cafe is at their first outlet in the SS 15 Subang Jaya right opposite the Taylors college, and next to the Subway sandwich. They are one of the few restaurant or café which hangs around for a long time and is doing better than before. The Korean Street Cafe is one place that is perfect for non-halal Korean food lovers. The menu comprises of still some very authentic Korean dishes, but with a twist of the choice of ingredients. Instead of the usual pork there is kimchi stew with seafood in it. It was an interesting difference to what was normally served in the usual kimchi stew. Well a lot of the ingredients were replaced with local ingredient but it was nonetheless palatable. The ingredients are not so generous like before but were still tasty and good enough to satisfy the taste bud. It used to have big chunks of seafood and tuna which I can never forget but right now, it is served with fewer of those. The outlet in Sunway Pyramid is located at the asian avenue right next to the tako balls. The area is very secluded and can be quite a challenge to locate if unfamiliar with the layout in the mall and the avenue. continue reading
