continue reading

continue reading

Returned with friends for other items. Service was fast and floor staff are polite as well. We had Seaweed Hakka Noodle Soup served with sweet corn, pork balls and fish cake, cost RM7.90/bowl. The bowl of seaweed soup was certainly sweet in taste. The Hakka noodle was springy. The portion of the noodle was good for 1 person. There were at least 4 tasty flavoured pork balls and the fish cake was equally springy texture and good in taste. A filling bowl of noodles and worth every cent. continue reading

This restaurant certainly have quite a huge variety of options in terms of noodles and meat balls. You can choose from kuew teow, yellow noodles and thin or thick hakka noodles. The meat balls options are prawn, squid, pork or chicken.I tried the squid balls dry thin noodles and finds it just average. The squid balls were served with soup separately and tasted just normal. It was not outstanding as it did not have that springy texture and tasted a bit bland. The noodles were drenched in a combination of soya sauce and sesame oil but it was a little bit too much. This was supposed to be a dry noodle but the noodles were swimming in the sauce. And it tasted like just soya sauce which did not do anything to enhance the noodles. The minced meat on top of the noodles did nothing to save this version as they tasted bland as well. continue reading
