instead of saying taufu or tofu, indonesians call it tahu. so tahu telur actually meant egg tofu. the egg texture inside were reaaaally smooth. the crust on the other hand, were fried just right. served with carrot, cucumber and beansprouts, the special homemade sauce added to its savory-egg-ish taste that i just love. although the portion is actually quite small.. it still tasted very well! maybe its only enough for two pax haha continue reading

Interesting name. It was named Dancing Fish because of the way it is presented. The fish bends and looks upwards to show a series of movement, either jumping out of the water or 'dancing'. The sauces served with the fish was good. However, the fish wasn't really my thing. I personally can't take fish which are too 'fishy'. The smell and taste of the fish was too overpowering for me to handle. continue reading

The restaurant which means Noise in Indonesia and the owner had opened her second restaurant with the name of it. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable and it is indeed a great place for a lazy lunch meal. Nasi Timbel Java is one of the order by my colleague where the white rice is being layered with anchovies and fried onions and it is being served with tempe, tofu and the choice of chili beef or chicken with it.Price: RM 25.50 continue reading
