Just as the name suggest, Just Pie is a place which sells a variety of pies. Among the pies available are Chicken Slice 'N' Mash, Chicken 'N' Mushroom, Black Pepper Chicken, Beef Steak 'N' Cheese, Lamb Parmesan and Curry Lamb pie. Previously, I have tried their lamb parmesan pie which is quite good. The meat was juicy covered in parmesan cheese.As for this round, I tried their Chicken Cheddar Cheese pie at RM 7.00 per piece.Beautifully baked chicken pie....The inside of the pie which is filled with loads of chicken meat cubes and cheddar cheese. Although the chicken meat taste good, but it is not cheesy as there isn't much cheese in it. Would be better if they have added in more cheese. Having said that, the pie's pastry skin is quite tasty with a slight sweet taste. But I find the skin is too thick.

I'm personally not a big fan of pastries, because what comes to mind is stale hard, unappetizing looking bread.However, I found Just Pie to be good.As you can see, just pie isn't your conventional pies. It has different symbols on top, which represents different flavours. They have apple pie, which I find warm and not too mushy, with a reasonable amount of apple chunks (The smallest 1).The other flavours they have include chicken bbq,chicken black pepper etc. I like the bbq chicken as you can taste the juicy tender chicken with the bbq flavour, and the pastry is not too thickly coated that you're just eating bread. Lovely.

Its been awhile since I've had a decent pie and when I walked past this kiosk, it caught my attention!They have a pretty good variety of pies from chicken to beef to lamb or even plainer ones with just mushrooms or vegetables...I had a craving for chicken pie so I decided to try the Chicken Cheddar Cheese pieIt was pretty good, the chicken pieces were juicy and all but I couldn't really taste much of the cheese though.. the pie crust is also not as crispy as I would have liked it to be.My friend ordered the Just Mushroom pie This one had a better blend of flavor on the inside and you could really bite into the mushroom pieces inside rather than just mushroom flavorings! But then again, I've had better pies than these.. so while they do not taste bad, I would say its just ok-ok...The size of the pie is pretty reasonable though and they keep it warm at all times in their display thingy.
