Yippee Cup is actually a household name in SS2, famously known for their Bubble Milk Tea since around 10 years back. This corner shop here also serves food. Here i have the sausage spaghetti, cream of mushroom soup and hot lemon tea. The tomato based spaghetti was sweet and sourish. The sauce also has a strong garlic and basil leaves taste. The chicken sausage was average, the skin were slightly dry. The cream of mushroom soup was yummy. It was creamy and i added pepper to add some spiciness. Hot lemon tea was a huge glass. Very strong tea taste and slightly sweet. continue reading

Yippee Cup is a bubble tea cafe and restaurant. Unlike Chatime, it serves other light snacks such as fried hotdogs, deep fried items and waffles. For a light bite, I have only a set of waffles. It is quite burnt but very crispy especially on the edges. But i find it quite dry because the kaya filling in it is not much. Nevertheless, the thin layer of kaya is quite sweet and flavourful. Tastes not bad, and I would try their signature tea next time. continue reading

We ordered their best seller Gui Ling Roasted Milk Tea, topped with herbal Gui Ling jelly -RM5.90 (Regular) and their new blended series Ocha Red Bean Blend - Rm7.90 (Regular). So we topped up RM2.00. You might choose their other flavours of tea series if you don't want to top up the price difference. It's well presented, look yummy. This is the reason why i rather topped up RM2 to try out this drink. This ice blended green tea with fresh milk imported from New Zealand taste nice, rich and not too sweet. It was topped with slightly sweetened red beans. Red bean always goes well with the natural taste of green tea, but the sweetened red beans is a bit sweet for my taste. This is really special and interesting combination. A slightly bitter yet rich milk tea, topped with herbal Gui Ling Jelly, soft and refreshing. Taste special. continue reading

With the recent spate of desserts outlets coming up all around town, I was surprised to find out this place, Yippee Cup in SS2 which was already in operation since 2001, a strong 10 years. Even before the craze got started, Yippee Cup was already serving desserts that are similar to the ones you have in Taiwan 10 years ago, now if that's not long, then I'm not sure what is.Yippee CupSS2 Branch44, Jalan SS2/6647300 Petaling JayaEmail: yippeecup@gmail.com , yippeecupmalaysia@gmail.comPhone: +603-78746899 ( SS2 )Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/YippeeCupYippee Cup has another branch over at Sri Hartamas, but that night we were invited to sample their food and desserts from the SS2 branch.Sometime next week, their new outlet will open in Sungai Wang, so be sure to look out for it. So there we were, all ready for some good bubble milk tea, and the owner was gracious enough to provide us with all their signature drinks ranging from green teas, fruity milk tea, to fusion fruit teas. Yippee Cup had various milk tea range, which was rather uniquely named. We had the Chewy Goovy Mix, the Trendy Blended, the Energetic Healthy Pop, the Black Tea Fanatic and so many others. Do check out on the below for a couple of drinks we had.Out of all the bubble milk tea above, I would say I'm a fan of the Oreo Blended, and also the signature pearl milk tea. The rest were unique and tasted good too, and if you are a fan of bubble milk tea, or green tea, over here in Yippee Cup, you'll be spoilt for choice. The menu is just so extensive. I have come to realize that most desserts outlets now offer snacks as well to complement their drinks, and its no different here as Yippee Cup realize that their customers may be hungry as well, hence there are snacks offered. The snacks were perfect when eaten with the milk teas. I personally like the Seafood Tempura which tasted somewhat like "keropok leko", and the fried chicken. Served hot from the kitchen, the fried beancurd and Yippee Waffo were pretty good too. continue reading
