Signature Dishes
Twentyone has been kicking around for a couple of years, but it hasn't become boring. Its creative cuisine and cocktails keep us coming back. The complimentary bread with dukka dip underscores how they try to put interesting twists into everything here. Rhubarb compote with vanilla custard and macadamia ice cream. If you like sourish desserts, then order this! Warm layered chocolate cake with marshmallows, berry coulis and straciatella ice cream. An exceptional blend of tastes and textures. Chilled upside-down cheese mousse with fruit compote and flavoured snow. Twentyone's signature dessert, this was luscious; the perfect cross between cheese cake and mousse. The Twentyone Degrees Hot Or Not is the weirdest cocktail, with manuka honey, 42 below, mint, basil and tomyam! It's like drinking cold tomyam soup with a dash of alcohol. The other two cocktails are relatively conventional: Turkish Delight (with lychee & rhubarb) and Japanese Squeeze (sake, skyy vodka, apple & green tea).

I always try not to step into shopping mall during the weekend, simply because I don't enjoy the crowd. I rather pick a casual dining spot with comfort food. Twenty One Kitchen + Bar Bukit Bintang, a combination of restaurant with great food and bar(terrace); less than 10 minutes driving distance from Pavilion KL, I love spending my quiet afternoon there. Marinated Roma tomatoes w sliced buffalo mozzarella, served with rocket and basil pesto.Ingredients used are fresh which it definitely bring up your appetite. Tips: Order for sharing might be ideal as you wouldn't want to be too stuffy for your coming up main course.
