By 阿七 continue reading

What I loved about this juice is that it's freshly made, freshly squeezed upon customers' order. Totally heavenly! Umbra (or known locally as kedondong) is a super refreshing drink. By itself it would have tasted a bit sour so I'm sure they poured some sugary syrup into it. But the umbra's fresh alright, and the drink itself really quenches the thirst and complements the otherwise heavy meal well. I loved it! continue reading

New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice @ Jalan Gasing, travelling over to pj and discover this place to have chicken rice. i wonder how it looks like to the normal range of chicken rice and claim to be the new trend of ipoh chicken rice. saw many people dining in and really that good? in my opinion i rated just average. the whole kampung chicken is not that large portion and far more expensive because of the rental here perhaps and eating in a air conditinong and nice dining place need to pay more for the environment that we enjo which is more comfortable.try the kuey teow instead of rice and the chicken portion really small and i wanted more soy sauce. the pork meatball in a soup is good and the chili is spicy. also can try their Fried Roasted Pork RM15. looks good too. continue reading

Although this restaurant is famous for the steamed chicken, they also do other a la carte dishes such as the pork ball noodle. I know that their hor fun is as good as the one from Ipoh, therefore, i choose the hor fun for the pork ball soup. The dish was quite a big portion, definitely worth the money. I was a little dissapointed that the hor fun did not meet my expectation. The hor fun tasted similar to the hor fun in klang valley, not as smooth as the one from Ipoh. However, the pork balls were firm, springy, and juicy. The soup was also tasty. continue reading

you won't need to drive to Ipoh (2 hrs from KL) to enjoy a plate of its famous delicacy. this restaurant is fFounded by Mr. Yan Khoon Yin in 1997, it started in Jalan Gasing and now has six outlets around KL/Selangor. many more outlet are getting around in townBean sprouts (RM 2) were fat and juicy but the chef was too generous with the salty soy sauce. Provided soup was very heavy with taste (can be mistaken as salty)the fishball soup is nice and fresh. the kuey teow is so smooth and nice soup based continue reading
