After settling my bills in Majlis Perbandaran Kajang, I decided to tour around/ driving blindly to be exact.I thought of I could have my lunch there since I already drove all the way to Kajang.Oh well.I was trapped in the jam by following the big crowd turning in to the Plaza Kajang. But as I was trapping in the traffic, I found the restaurant named Restoran Malaysia which I remembered my friend brought me here once. I told my friend that we should try out this place as according to what I remembered, they serve really good Satay Ikan.I'm lucky enough that I found a good parking right in front of the restaurant. So from the "jam-in the traffic doing nothing status", immediately I found myself a shelter:')We ordered 8 cucuk of Satay Ikan at RM1.50 per stick. The satay rice at RM1 each.I would say the satay is a bit pricy but it taste so good as other places always offer Satay Ayam or Kambing or Lembu.I hardly see people who sell Satay Ikan. The fish is so smooth and I just love this place so muchWe sat outside the store, which is so near to the barbecue pit. Story behind: We saw the summon-lady, but having our car parked at the illegal parking, actually not illegal, but we were so lazy to walk and pay our parking coupons, I gave lame excuses to sit outside the restaurant to keep an eye on the summon lady for not coming near my carResult: My friend and I became the human satay, after having all the smokes fly towards us.Disclaimed for all: Find a proper parking to avoid being a human satay. We too ordered Kopi Ais: RM2and Milo Kosong Panas: RM 2.30But, We did not order the timun(cucumber) as shown in the picture. And they charged us 50 cents for that:/Next time do tell them that you do not want the timun if you're not having them.Do not let them charge you blindly yaChicken Satay at RM 0.90 eachBeef Satay at RM1.00 eachKambing Satay RM1.50 eachSad story: GST charges in this restaurant too  continue reading

Chicken satay for tea time anyone?Colleagues took away some hot chicken satay from Kajang. As you know, Kajang is famous for satay in Malaysia and that the satay from this restaurant is nice. Everything is up to the standard. For foreigner, satay is a kind of charcoal grilled meat on a bamboo stick, serves as local food in Malaysia. On top of the satay, people will put some honey and prior to the grill, there will be some marination of the meat. Satay here is nice, meat tender and succulent. continue reading

continue reading
