If there's one reason to dine at Aliyaa, their Sri Lankan crabs are it! The sauce is thick and chunky, tastes earthy, pleasantly salty, sweet, and aromatic. The crabs are fresh, extremely fleshy (get a claw and be very, very delighted), juicy, and flaky.There's enough sauce that you can just lap it all up with all the abundant flesh in the crabs. The Apam is also one of the highlights in the menu. They have a few version of the apam which is plain, egg as well as with sugar. This is where the apam made from a fermented batter of rice flour & coconut milk . Each of the apam have its speciality with the crispy edges on it. 这个吃起来可以吃到它放了不少得香料来做准备尤其那肉碎很入味比较容易入口。而它所用到的米饭时印度米,吃起来就更加的香而且饭的硬度刚刚好。如果喜欢香料做饭的人也可以来到这里。 continue reading

我相信不单单只是我童年有apam 的陪伴,还有很多人都爱吃apam 尤其小时候。以前的我们没那么多快餐,最爱吃路边小吃。Apam通常巴刹或夜市都会有,而且价钱便宜。这里的sweet apam 其实味道差不远,也是用米粉,糖,椰浆,和鸡蛋,不同的是他没那么容易垮,很脆椰味很浓。 continue reading
