The King of Fruits is back in season and like any other bakery, Secret Recipe is selling their durian cheesecake once again. Asked any malaysian's what they think about durians and you would most likely received two thumbs up. Anyway I got a slice of their durian cheesecake with a cup of earl grey tea. For those who dunno, there is a tea time promotion where patrons can get a free beverage for any cake bought during tea-time. The pungent aroma of durian was the first thing I smelled when the waitress served the cake. The cheese and durian mixed well and was not overpowering. continue reading
