While stock last...Andto our utter surprise, the ramen served here is one noteworthy dish worthexploring further with various toppings to go with (before it gets overshadowedby the other delish Japanese fares that we shall share later, hehe). The noodlescome especially springy and slurpy, and not easily get soggy in the soup whendiners get too carried away with their chatting and camaraderie at times. Trulyremarkable and highly recommend it.Currentlyit’s available in set, comes with complementing fish cakes, salad and fruitssides eachRefreshingsalad that comes with wafu and mayo dressing, besides crispy bitesof fish cakes addictively.Forthe Original Ramen Set, we have the best of both worlds; original soup and spicyversion.CHICKEN BBQ RAMEN (17.90)Lovethe tender and nicely rolled up meat, adequately marinated before slowly braisedin special sauce to amuse your taste buds. Soup is very flavourful that issubtlely enhanced with sweetness from long hours boiling of chicken and fishbones. We personally enjoy this set very much, no wonder it’s also a popularchoice among diners, the best-seller according to Shawn, the owner of Mizukawa.SPICY SEAFOOD RAMEN (MYR 18.90)Forthose who prefer some spicy kick in their ramen bowl, then this seafood ramenin spicy broth comes ideally inviting. Comprising of oceanic wonders likesalmon, squids and prawns, all flavoured up in the spiced soup prepared withspecial inhouse blend of chili powder, it makes up an appetizingly aromaticdish that is not overly spicy, so foodies with faint tongue could also enjoythis delish ramen as well. UNAGI TOFU SALAD (MYR 30.80)Premiumriver eel layered atop silky beancurd with mayonnaise and sesame dressing.Enjoyeach mouthful helping of the saporous unagi slice that has been thoroughlyglazed and served with salad in wafu sauce and in house prepared goma sauce, evensoya sauce too.SASHIMI 5 TEN MORI (MYR 68.80)Callin’out to sashimi buff! Relishin the colorfully fresh combination of almon, maguro, hamachi, shiro maguro and salmon toro. Bounteous sashimi cuts are munificently servedto satisfy your craving for these Japanese quintessential delights. The salmon literally meltsin your mouth!MIZUKAWA SPECIAL ROLL SUSHI (MYR 22.80)Californiaroll made in the unconventional way by dishing it up on a plate with specialbake cream, shrimp roe and sweet sauce. We must say that this is afantastic idea to both palatably and visually that tempts us with the idea oftotally forgetting about the usual conical roll moving forward. Not only it’sconveniently consumed, but also wonderfully toothsome!IKA MARUYAKI (MYR 18.90)Forthe yakimono, we heed with Shawn’s suggestion of trying thespecially grilled whole squid with homemade teriyaki sauce. Thedecision is proven right when relishing in the enticing chewy bites of theperfectly grilled Japanese squid with the unique savory sauce that is sapid butnot as overpowering sweet as commonly encountered in mass commercialproduction.MISAKI HOTATE YAKI (MYR 23.90)Anothersuperb rendition of baked scallop with cream sauce, laces of sweet crab meatand shrimp roe for the utmost seafood delectation.CREAMY KAKI YAKI (MYR 18.90)Innovativelyhouse crafted baked oyster that has been lightly breaded and speedily deepfried beforehand, and then drizzled with bake cream sauce, shrimp roeand seaweed. Like the idea of the earlier handling of the oyster by firstfrying it up to get rid of any unpleasant seawater taste and to give a tangy contrastin texture.KINOKO BUTTER (MYR 15.90)Mushroomfans like me would be thrilled over this homey and yummy fragrantly cookeddish- assortment of mixed mushrooms with butter and bonito flakes.Slimply awesome and thumbs up!Nowwho don’t love kushiyaki? Just how the Japanese love their fave streetfood freshly grilled till perfection while retaining the juice!YAKITORI (MYR 12.90)Succulentcubes of skewered grilled chicken meat. Guests could actuallyrequest and check with Shawn whether their choice of kushiyaki sticks could bedone according to personal taste preference- in this case, I have it shio yaki-grilled with salt rather than as suggested in the menu. Yum!IKA GESSO KUSHI (MYR 17.90)Dinersshouldn’t miss this cutely skewered grilled squid head that is plainlywinning with its chunky bite-sized and delicious glaze. Caveat be told, youwould tend to get hooked on to it for more! (=Rather than ending everymeal from The Land of Rising Sun with matcha gelato by default, why not givesome citrusy sorbet a try?Add captionSORBET (MYR 10.50 each)MangoOrange- a hit among regularsCoconutmade with pandan (screwpine)Overall, the array ofJapanese food that is served at Mizukawa promises a mouthwatering affair andpatrons get to enjoy the spread within a cozy and soothing environment.
