I loveeeee thai food. The first time i try this amazing absolute thai chain which is Celadon a royal thai cuisine was a year ago where i went it with my bos at pavilion. Then i keep coming back bringing my friends and family here. This is a get together place where you can share delicious food with your love ones. The food that i tried was:1) Steamed siakap with garlic chillies and lime sauce - RM442) TomYam (is a MUST!) - RM 243) Green curry chicken - RM174) Pandan leaves chicken -RM155) Pineapple fried rice - RM176) crispy spring rolls -RM107) Waterchestnut in coconut milk topped with jackfruits - RM88) Jasmine green tea - RM7Well i did not try all of this at one time (unless i'm with the whole family) . So far these are the item that tried when i came here. To tell you the truth, they got the best TomYam in town! Please request for less spicy if you don't really eat spicy food. It is definitely very very very hot and spicy but it is very delicious that you are able to handle it with 5 jugs of juices lol. The first time i tried their TomYam i could not stop tho i was sweating (because it was too spicy).Well beside the TomYam the steamed siakap was good, well cook and flavoured. Green curry chicken was not one of my favorite so as the pandan leaves chicken. Pineapple fried rice taste delicious. It was for my nieces suggested for those who don't like spicy food. As for the starter which is the spring rolls, they will not be able to challenge Ikea spring rolls because it was too oily. Come to the dessert, their waterchestnut is the best. It was not that creamy and i feel that the dessert is very light, less sugar and less fat. Additionally, Jasmine green tea was good as always.Well i will not stop trying some other dishes of course! It is a bit expensive of course especially at pavilion that called Celadon, Royal Thai Cuisine (it is actually from absolute thai as well just a bit high end). If you want some cheaper price, i will suggest for you to go to Mango Chili tho they don't have the best TomYam in town but they also have the other dishes that taste better than absolute thai such as green curry chicken.Trust me, you need to try it for yourself. Overall: Amazing food, a get together place, amazing interior continue reading

Celadon Royal Thai Cuisine is the place to be to celebrate special occasions.. whether it be promotions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.. It's super expensive yes... but then it's fine dining and the ambience is very pretty; with plush white chairs, tables, beautiful chandeliers and paintings..etc. The menu's not very extensive but the quality of the food's superb! Must tries are definitely Tom Yam Soup (choose the clear one which is healthier), Pineapple Fried Rice (served in a fleshed-out pineapple topped with chicken floss!) and of course their scrumptious Mango with Glutinous Rice. Totally, totally yummy! continue reading

I can hardly eat asparagus due to its limited stock availability in leading supermarkets. Eventhough they have it, the asparagus is too thin and once we peel off some of the fibrous part, there is nothing much left. So we took the opportunity to order this dish.Fat asparagus and big prawns stir fried with oyster sauce, a simple dish but well executed with sense of elegance here. The asparagus retained its crunchiness while the crunchy sweet prawns tantalized our tastebuds well. This dish went pretty well with steamed rice, as I enjoyed scooping some gravy onto my rice. continue reading

Another authentic traditional Thai dessert for the sweet tooth is this glutinous rice platter served with vanilla ice cream and mango. Seems like mango is also one of its main attraction other than juicy prawns Out of this three, I enjoyed the glutinous rice most. It’s pretty special as it’s eaten with the gooey sauce on top of it, which might be tad rich but nice, as it blends well with the taste of the rice. Next would be the vanilla ice cream, which appears to be very creamy and smooth. It makes me wonder which ice cream brand they use or do they make it themselves? I should have asked them on that very day..haha…Toast for the day! v(^_^)v continue reading

One of the better outlets in the SEA Group family of mall-friendly Thai restaurants, which also includes BSC's Busaba, 1 Utama's Good Evening Bangkok & Mid Valley's Flying Chillies. Prawns Part I: Tom yam soup _ sourish, spicy & swamped with prawns & mussels. Prawns Part II: Pomelo salad, with plenty of juicy pulp complemented somewhat unusually by battered prawns, squid, roasted coconut & ground peanuts. Prawns Part III: Northern Thai prawn curry with pineapples. Delicious, even without the distinctive flavors of the typical Thai green & red curries. Tastes like it could be Malaysian. Prawn-free interlude: Grilled strip loin on hot plate with northern Thai sauce. Can't complain; the well-marinated beef is the furthest thing from bland & chewy. Prawns Part IV: Sizzling seafood with Thai herbs. Bonus point: Celadon's food displays few apparent signs of MSG. Prawns Part V: Pineapple fried rice, intriguingly topped with chicken floss (besides the prawns, naturally) for an enjoyable chewiness. A fair range of wine is available _ not something to take for granted at a Thai eatery. continue reading
