Best Mexican food in bayan lepas area so far. Went there for a casual Saturday lunch. Ordered set for 2. Surprisingly good and the price is reasonable. Just a little improvement needed for the food serving speed. Will definitely revisit. continue reading

After visited the War Museum, it was 530pm and it was a working Friday, we knew we'll be caught in a terrible traffic if we are to head to the town. So we asked our friends who're staying nearby, and he recommended us this restaurant. He said, "You gotta try this, it's like you're eating in Mexico paying Malaysia price, and you'll be surprised, that it only cost you less than a green note." We were like, seriously? A Mexican dining experience with less than RM50?Nothing fancy about the restaurant, or is it we've been to a lot Fancy Cafes and Restaurant maybe? Anyway, they have a humble entrance with a wooden trishaw(or is it a traditional transportation vehicle used in Mexico? Please forgive my katak di bawah tempurung's silly comment here) that makes me feel like "Really?"  but I dare you to just go in. Looking at there almost-local style Menu, I looked at the Quesadillas, the Wrap, the Burritos, the Churros, and I looked at my man, "Hell, this is definitely over. I so wanna try every single dish here!"So we ordered Quesadillas(beef), Wrap(Chicken), Burrito (was it pork or beef? I forgot. Oh remember choose their Lima rice!) and 2 Sodas drink that basically, just don't bother, and my best advice is, you should really just go for Corona. Honestly saying, this was the best Mexican dish I've ever tried in Malaysia. Oh their Lima rice was so much fragrant that even I'm not a rice person, but when the rice meets the meat and the sauce just made everything exploded perfectly in your mouth! Either single bite on the meat or only the rice you'll still enjoy your Burrito, this I promise you.Talk about the Quesadillas, I was never a person who know-how to enjoy a burger or anything with open-end. You can expect food falling everywhere on the table but who cares right? I really, I mean really, like their side dishes (or is it appetiser?) The sweet and sour mix of corn and pineapple was just appetising, and tomato with ... the special I-don't-know-what-sauce makes tomato tasted just better than it original is.Will definitely pay my visit whenever I'm back in Penang. In fact, while writing this post I felt like going there now already. continue reading
