I've been to the SS2 outlet and I truly enjoy and love the food and the host is really kind and friendly there. So I quite expect to receive the same service in this Kepong outlet, which is my first visit. The restaurant has two units, 1 ground floor and 1 second floor. Me and my friend took the table upstairs. We had Kimchi-Jeon-gol (a spicy combination of pork, kimchi, tofu and Korean noodles), Yang-nyum Dak-gal-bi (lean skinless chicken fillet marinated in special soy sauce) and Go-cho-jang Sam-kub-sal (thin slices of belly pork marinated in Korean traditional sauce). The service was quite efficient. The banchan is refillable. The portion was quite big for the two of us, but nevertheless, we still manage to 'force' it in because the food we ordered are really nice and delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. The only thing that kinda upset us a bit is when the Korean man (we presumed is the owner) came over to our table and commented that we yet to finish our food and that we ate too slow and then walked off. That is a 'nice' gesture to 'kick' us out, I suppose. We thought it must be super long queue, that he has to come and 'kick' us out, but after settling our bill and walked down the stairs to leave the restaurant, I'm expecting to see long queue, but to my surprise, the ground floor is quite empty and no queues at all. I guess, that will be our last time coming to this outlet. continue reading

Kimchi jjigae (Kimchi-soup) is my favourite and yet is worth it to order in Daorae. Why??This is because one bowl of rice cost RM5 and this freaking kimchi jjigae comes with the bowl of rice for only RM 18 so the soup cost RM13. Anyway is not a big deal if you are a fans of kimchi!! The pot of kimchi soup served up hot and is not spicy too! Once you mix the soup and a few slice of pork with the korean rice it taste real good! You can feel the rice is totaly different from our daily cooked rice because is korean rice They even have a few of tofu and glass noodle. Overall it taste really good it best to have it at rainy day ! continue reading
