Pao Xiang BKT is one of the famous BKT which is located in Kepong and the restaurant had been along with the other bak kut the shop for a long time. The restaurant is located the same row as the Panda Steamboat which I visited recently.Some of the famous thing here is the Ka Chark which is one of the parts of the pig. Pao Xiang in kepong area here it was crowded although it was already late afternoon. their menu is really alot and attractive, I was happy that they serve the meat in individual portion instead of dumping everything in a claypot.the claypot is mini size but the ingredient and the taste sis so soup the herbs soup of the bak kut teh aroma really makes me want for more rice also the juice and tender pork meat the natural pork flavour and prevent the meat from breaking up. Pao Xiang BKT is no longer wonders and there are so many outlets in big malls like Mid Valley as well as in 1-Utama. Serving Bak Kut Teh in a small bowls is my first time hearing it. Is really surprising the BKT is serving in small bowls but not in claypot.When I glance the menu, no price !! and i am thinking how much a bowl There are choices of sui kuat, tua kut, pai kut, bak kut, sam chan bak , ka geng,teng kia, stomach, and more. You can find almost every part of the pig here. Wosh...Something special is they do served seafood not prawns, or fish but they served expensive high class seafood like sea cucumber, shark fin and abolone bak kut teh.“ Pork Rib BKT” in a small bowl is indeed weird. This is because the pork rib is not relly absorbed the bkt taste from the little bowl. The “Sum Chan Bak” is the belly where partly is fat and partly is meat. The portion is in bowl and soup is less. Taste is quite delighting with the herbal taste.
