I have always noted the freshness of ingredients used when it comes to sushi king chains. Most of the outlets are pretty consistent when it comes to serving fresh ingredients. And to be very honest, freshness is really a very important key to delicious japanese food. As a matter of fact, all sorts of food. The thing about these fast japanese sushi chains with rotating belt is that the sushi plates maybe left rotating too long on the belt before someone consumes it. I am not angry when the belt is pretty empty because the sushi chef might have adjusted to the rate of walk in customers. In fact, I request mine to be made fresh most of the time. The makis here are palatable and fairly priced. I also love the fusion of cheese on maki sushi but this can be a turn off to those who do not like cheese. Fact is there are only a handful of them. My sis without fail would grab her favourite starter everytime we walk into sushi king. Myself is not too keen with the texture.
