Tai Lei Loi Kei is one of my favorites since i had visited them in Kota Damansara. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the piggy with it and i am always a fans of the polo bun. The fluffy bun which is added with the tender juicy pork meat is just perfect for a afternoon meal. The pork meat is really delicious and the juiciness of the pork meat gives me a thumbs up. With the polo bun added in to it, give a light sweetness bite. continue reading

We've ordered their pork chop bun set with "nai cha" for Rm13.90 then topped up another Rm2 for the melting cheese as recommended by their staff. Pork Chop was huge in portion but becareful with the bone, and the bread was quite soft in the inside but I found the "nai cha" to be diluted, much influenced from the local teh tarik. It was served in a paperbag for those in a rush. continue reading

Pork chop is the signature dish selling here. You can choose to eat the pork chop as a single dish itself or eat it together either with rice, noodles or breads. The pork chop is fully marinated and bring to deep fried, it is very crispy and tasty. The set of pork chop rice set also come with a fried egg, the portion is good for a person. This is a self service restaurant, a lot of people queue for food too, better reach here early, mostly is lunch time. continue reading

A popular Macau indulgence has popped up in KL, thanks to this stall that opened this week in Lot 10's bustling Hutong basement food court.Pork chop buns are Tai Lei Loi Kei's guilty pleasure, a no-frills treat featuring little more than bread & meat for not much more than RM10.What's surprising is how satisfying these seem: hearty enough to halt hunger, with a crisp sliced bun & bone-in pork that's distinctively sweet-savory.Has it really been more than two years since the last time we visited Hutong? Astonishingly, yes. Since then, more stalls have sprung up, such as this one specializing in Penang's duck egg char kuey teow. continue reading
