Sukiya, Japanese fast food restaurant which offers u dishes asap! Gyudon is the basic beef rice which comes in small, medium and large. Medium will do because you will get disgust if u eat too much. Actually the taste is good and the beef tastes like the common bbq beef. Fast food can have such standard is really not bad! Same goes to the Mayo Teriyaki. Medium size will give u satisfied taste and fullness.  continue reading

The first visit was great and we were spoiled with choices of toppings on top of their gyudon (beef don). It was indeed a pleasant visit that we came back for second time.Trying something different from their usual gyudon to see if they can still excel in others. Curry don was not like the usual japanese powdery non-spicy curry but type of curry from our own country which we don't like. Teriyaki udon with running egg was spoiled by the excessive kewpie japanese mayo. It was too sweet to go with the rice. Others were part of the sets. continue reading

A healthy lunch at Sukiya! Why I say it's healthy is because they use minimum oil in their cooking and there's hardly any fried stuff on their menu. I've always like their beef bowl. After yoshinoya has closed down, Sukiya served the best, affordable beef bowl around. The meat is tender, with minimal fatty parts and the marination is great. I added on an egg just to make the rice wetter and to add on an extra taste to the awesome gravy. The lunch set comes with a bowl of miso soup to complete the meal. The soup was alright, the amount of seaweed was sufficient and came in big pieces. continue reading
