continue reading

The waiter recommended the homemade herbal tea when he saw that we were undecided about the drinks. The homemade herbal tea in Chef Tay is quite nice as minimal ice was given, but I was fine with that, as it did not dilute my drink. For less than RM8, you can get a reasonable portion of this, and most importantly it is quite tasty. The soya sauce used mix the kuey teow is decent, could be more fragrant by adding sesame oil. It is just a matter of preference. Kuey Teow is those close to Ipoh standard- narrow sized in breadth of the noodle and very smooth.Smooth chicken- Indeed very smooth. Flavour wise is close to bland but you can always dip them in some soya sauce provided. I was given the drumstick part so it was extra tender. The bowl of soup is very hearty as well. I enjoyed until the last sip and I do not feel thirsty after that. continue reading
