Jelly or agar-agar always the favourite desserts among adults and children. They are my all time favourite too! Today been pasar malam and saw aunty selling normal agar-agar and mooncake agar-agar too! She is selling many flavours on the mooncake shape agar-agar, eg. best selling flavour 招牌(she created by her own), cendols, dragonfruits, lychees, longans, mango, coconuts and many more!! She has included some kua zi inside too!I have picked her "best selling flavour招牌" that she created by her own and the cendol flavour! Very nice yummy especially the one she created, so so nice in taste and love the appearance too! Also buying her other normal jelly in pandan and lychee flavour, thumbs up!! continue reading

One of the best things about roaming in a pasar malam is that you will suddenly find a stall selling something very unique to eat. In my case, I was strolling in pasar malam ss2 when I chanced upon a stall surrounded by people. Naturally curious, I craned over and tried to see what was being sold. To my surprise, they were selling flavoured tau foo fah. I normally take the soya bean type, but I have never had it any other way. They had chocolate, pandan and mango tau foo fah. Since there were so many people, their tau foo fah must be good. I waited patiently for my turn, and ordered a chocolate one. It was put in a round plastic container, and it is served cold. Smooth and silky, it reminded me of the double boiled chocolate milk that I once had in Hong Kong. It wasn't too sweet, but full of chocolate taste. Definitely worth my time waiting for it. continue reading

I wouldn't say this stall sells Jelly. Rather, they sells Tau Foo Fah. And the best ever with an amazing array of varieties, I would like to add. I'm a huge fan of the SS2 Pasar Malam (one of the best in Klang Valley) and every visit reveals yet another gastronomic discovery! This stall is superb- Original, Pandan, Chocolate, Yam and so much more ? My favorites ? Definitely original and pandan.. with lots of brown sugar, please. slurp! continue reading
