Went to café Quan for lunch today and stumbled upon this special Cantonese fried kuey teow.From the picture on the menu, it looked like some kind of golden crackers.Really, I’ve never seen such a dish before - basically the kuey teow is deep fried till crisp.The portion is really huge and the kuey teow actually tastes like crackers. Just towards the end of it, you’ll feel the texture getting softer, hence you’ve got to finish it fast before it soaks too long in the soup.Waiting time is a bit long considering the crowd at lunch hour.

Live nearby, never getting tired of visiting this place. food is nice, especially highly recommended, Grilled Butter Fish and Calamari. Superb in taste and presentation. Great place to chill out after stress from work. I always bring my family here because WE LOVE THE FOODS! We hope that you guys would continue to rock out, creating more and more new dishes, fushion and Chinese styles. Never getting tired of this place tho...

Fish balls noodle soup. Well, the fish balls noodle soup was a simple one and used the normal ingredients such as fish balls, vegetables and fu chuk. The soup was a clear version one and good for people who prefer light taste of broth instead of the heavy flavour laksa broth. The fish balls were normal too, nothing to shout about. It was not too salty nor too bland.
