The menu offerings were quite limited. Fried tofu. It does not come with any dipping sauce, quite disappointing. It was quite bland by just eating the tofu alone. Prawn mee. This dish was very tasteless, don't even a tint of prawn mee taste. Buttered fried rice. There was only 3 pieces of buttered chickens and few pieces of crackers, but a big bowl of rice. This dish was bland too. continue reading

The name itself intrigued me, Igentis with the mandarin words which roughly translates to "Ice Shop" if I'm not mistaken. I did see more food dishes than desserts here though, which got me confused for a moment. As the movie was going to start soon, we just went for a quick meal for two ordering Igentis' Herbal Chicken Soup with Rice and the Bittergourd Fish Bee Hoon. Check out what we had that night. My Herbal Chicken Soup wasn't bad, with a strong herbal taste in it. Of course it wasn't the best that I have tasted, but with enough herbal ingredients and a huge piece of chicken inside, I'm contented with my order. It came with one bowl of rice, which I couldn't finish though. Personally, I'm not a big fan of bittergourds for the simple reason that they're bitter. However the Bittergourd & Fish Bee Hoon Soup came with a really nice fragrant. It was Janice's dish, but I did try a bit, and it tasted really good. The bittergourds brought out the taste of the soup complemented by pieces of fish, and vegetables. Overall, Igentis at Tropicana City Mall served rather good dishes and should be doing rather well with its strategic location just next to the cinema. I did not however try their bubble tea that evening, which I heard was Igentis' signature dessert. Probably next round when I find myself catching a movie again in Tropicana CIty Mall. Igentis (冰点)is one of the outlet in Tropicana City Mall which served bubble tea as well. The restaurant is located the same floor as the GSC. The restaurant serves more than 50 types of main courses and bubble tea drinks.Curry Chicken Rice is what I had ordered. The curry was well made with light aroma of curry and chicken meat. The portion is good enough for one and the taste is very delighting. I love the curry as it is not too thick curry paste in it.Taste: 4/5Price: RM 7.90Stewed otak otak chicken rice is slightly a disappointment. The otak otak is mix with the steam rice and chicken. The overall taste is slightly dull and we do not really love it.Taste: 1/5Price: RM 7.90 continue reading
