Priced at RM18.80 for this serving of Sizzling chicken is reasonable as the quality of food is good. Kimchi Korean Restaurant is located in Tropicana City Mall and the dish is generous. I could share this dish as the spicy hot gravy is enough for 2 bowl of rice. Chicken meat is tender and besides chilly hot, there are fragrant garlic and some cabbage. Served hot, its appetizing and great taste. continue reading

continue reading

Sizzling Chicken (RM18.80). It came piping hot with chicken pieces emerged in thick brown gravy. The gravy was sweet with onion slices. Some of the chicken pieces were cooked but some are quite raw. The cooked ones were tender and coated with the sauce nicely. The sauce was really oily. The drinks were priced a little too high: the korean tea cost RM5 per cup (refillable). Considering the expensive tea, we ordered Orange juice (RM6.90) and chocolate shake (RM5.90). continue reading

Fancy Korean cuisines everywhere, just like me? When was just hanging around Tropicana City Mall after a movie at GSC, then came across this cute pinky Korean restaurant! Which girl can resist the sight of a lovely pickish café’s theme? We wear seated down comfortably on their Korean traditional dining cushion style. Then ban chan were served in a jiffy for us to savour while waiting for our main dishes to be served.Kimchi Fried Rice Love their side dishes too especially the kelp soup with silky bean curd, yum yum! First time trying fried rice of the Korean way, hehe. Rice was fragrant and its aroma just wafted in the air the moment it arrived. Topped with a sunshine egg and salty seaweed with sesame, the dish just got spice up delishly! With the accompanied salad, it’s really refreshing as the salad dressing was light, thus amplified the unique taste of kimchi fried rice. Undeniably, it tasted tad sourish due to the added kimchi. Nevertheless, it’s a goo try for! ^^Bi Bim Bap One of my routine dish whenever I patron any Korean eatery, hehe. I personally enjoy this version of Korean Hot Pot rice s I think more assorted of greens are added to it. You can find slices of cucumber, carrot, spinach, seaweed with gochujang and then sprinkled with some aromatic sesame. They all taste superb and are well-balanced, while the chicken fillets were tender too. The red pepper paste of this particular shop wans’t that spicy either. Nice! ^_^Then we cleared the throat with this cooling ginseng tea with wolfberries. It’s not bitter as the red ‘kei chi’ were added to it to strike a balance of the taste. It’s fantastic indeed!I will miss this pinky Korean………….. ^_^Kamsahamnida!! ^_^ continue reading

The layout of the restaurant is very pleasing and I love their girlish menu. It looks so neat and beautiful, very appealing to the diners. We are greeted with 6 side dishes. The waiters are so kind to refill them without us having to tell them! Their kimchi is very rich in flavour, and fresh too.Kimchi Seafood Bowl @ RM 14.90 Served with a bowl of steamed rice, the hot pot of kimchi is very spicy and less sour. It is highly recommended for those who can take spicy food. There is even glass noodle inside, I think I don't even need to have the rice because the kimchi pot alone is enough to make me satisfied and full.Kimchi Fried Rice @ RM 12.90 This is more of sour taste than being spicy. I think it is good during cold weathers. And the kimchi flavour is very rich in there. continue reading
