Wanton Mee - Spicy with Black Sauce Specialty RM3Fancy a good bowl of Wanton Noodles, or better known as Wan Tan Mee to the locals. Well, look no further if you're in the vicinity of Wangsa Maju.Their wanton mee, the spicy with black sauce specialty was really quite nice. It's rare that we get a spicy wanton noodle, but their version of chilli sauce being put inside the dish surprisingly made a good meal. The soup itself wasn't really good, with a lot of MSG to me, but i do like their wanton mee. The mee's texture was really good actually, without being soggy, but springy instead. continue reading

Each time I passed by this shop, never once I feel like going in. Maybe the shop name doesn't sound attractive to me. Anyway, finally decided to give a try at this shop since my boyfriend wanted to try their food. We both ordered the same noodles which is the black sauce wanton noodles. It costs RM 4.50 for regular size. Their service was good as the food was served after a few minutes. I told my bf that the noodles look okay only. However,to my surprise, the noodle texture was good and the wantons are crispy! I enjoyed the food very much. Last but not least, I ordered a peanut soup dessert to end the satisfying meal. continue reading

Me and my friend went to try out this outlet last week. The decor is very bland but it doesn't bother me as I put almost all emphasis on the taste of the food when I dine out. We both ordered the same regular Wanton Mee with Soup. I love the Wantons in the soup so i ordered those rather than the crispy ones. The taste was excellent and I really enjoyed it. They had a really nice chilly condiment to go along with the noodles and the noodles themselves were springy and delicious. I really do recommend for noodle lovers to try this place out but it can be a little pricey for college students in the area. Also do try out their ginseng drink which i can't remember the name of, it was refreshing and perfect to wash down the fiery chilly. continue reading
