One of the famous nasi lemak places, though not something most Malaysians would consider to be everyday food. Once in a while, it's just pleasant to dine in a nicer environment, even if it means paying more.The nasi lemak here is fragrant, sambal is "kao" and spicy. Chicken is tender.

Another popular local dishes is the nasi lemak ayam rendang. The portion of the nasi lemak is quite big. I like the coconut rice which was fragrant and fluffy. The ayam rendang was not too bad but not impressive. I just have high expectations on certain popular outlets, when their food quality did not meet my expectations, i will be very upset. I find that the nasi lemak was too dry for me as the sambal was not enough for the nasi lemak.

New outlet open at One Utama.Nasi Bonjari the portion is huge! They have fried chicken, rendang beef (you can change to rendang chicken as well) and sambal prawn. The fried chicken is quite disappointing despite the portion but the taste is salty and although they have alot of flesh but that is not the taste I expected to be. The prawn are fresh and nice. This is the fish head noodle and it is super yummy they have plenty of fried fish and the noodle is QQ love the soup base I prefer this to nasi bonjari The food is kinda pricey.

There is always drove of customer whenever I pass by this eatery, ie: Madam Kwan’s. It is one of the many unique restaurants out there that showcase local delicacies like nasi lemak, asam laksa, and many more.Being a huge fan of fish dishes, I called for a bowl of warmy Fish Meat Noodles in order to testify how it fares compared to the normal operators. First thing to notice was that the noodles or rather thicker vermicelli was pretty springy. The delicate stripes were very silky and thoroughly immersed in the flavorful whitish broth. Another plus point was the fish cutlets were very big and juicy. They were first fried before serving together with the vermicelli in soup, thus were flakier and slightly crispy on the outside. Guess this is what distinguish them from the other competitor whose fish fillets are more humble sized and more bones, hehe.Thinking to divert from the conventional food pairing, thus I opted for Yam Milk Shake, hehe. The beverage was really satisfying with its milky and foamy texture. Milk and yam were in a balanced proportion, thus neither powering each other. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as filling as Pinna Colada as I had at Chillies, which made yearn for this more. Thus, forget about diet for the time being Definitely another fulfilling session
