Signature Dishes
Located at Ground Floor, 1 Shamelin Shopping Mall, there is a restaurant called The Vanilla Place Boulangerie & Patisserie. The environment is very cozy and comfortable. I love salmon so much, so I order Smoked Salmon PS. The salmon is soft, but too too salty!!! Even though I eat the salmon with the noodles, I still feel very salty. The light mustard sauce is nice with noodles. But if you eat to much, you will be tired of this flavor.

Sunny Breakkie. This Sunny Breakkie came with 2 poached eggs, mushrooms, garden greens, toast and add on smoked salmon. This was indeed a very fulfilling breakfast as it has a lot of ingredients and the portion was big too. The poached eggs were done nicely while the smoked salmon was juice and soft. The mushroom was not too salty. Overall, a very good big breakfast.

A friend recommended me this place, telling me that I must absolutely try this place. So one day after an early morning badminton in Cheras, we gave this restaurant a visit.Its interior is nicely done, very comfortable place to hang out and chat with your friends.The breakfast is quite extensive ranging from omelette to toast to fruits salad.I ordered the Omelette Breakkie as I wasn't feeling very adventurous. The dish comes with turkey ham mushroom omelette, tuna mayonnaise, and vegetables and a toast.The omelette was very delicious, as the taste of the turkey ham fuses with the mushroom all with the eggy goodness making it superbly nice. The egg was cooked with butter, making the aroma slightly creamy. The omelette was also not very salty and not oily too, making it a very light and healthy meal.The tuna mayonnaise was also nice, as the strong taste of tuna blends well with the mayonnaise.With both the tuna mayonnaise and omelette wrapped by the toast, it makes a delicious and healthy combination.Highly recommended, although slightly pricey.
