A good day required a good drink that suit our Malaysian style which is hot and the scorching sun are dehydrating us all the time. Today is another usual hot day, I spend Rm6.90 to get a large cup of Matcha Red Bean Tea to refresh my mind and moistening my dry throat. It is worth of buck as it is really huge cup of tea which i can't even finish it by my own. Here have a quiet atmosphere that you can actually spend your day here for internet or reading some book. continue reading

One of the famous staples that can be found in any Taiwan night market is the bubble milk tea. Here, an authentic bubble milk tea shop handle by a taiwanese restaurateur can be found near uptown, adjacent to the Sumo Onigiri Japanese shop. This is a small shop but with comprehensive menu of milk tea available. I'm having the large glass of Taiwan Matcha red bean milk tea, since i was a fans of match and this is recommended by the shop owner. It is a 3 layer milk tea consist of sweet red bean at the bottom, milk in between and flavour of matcha tea at the top. If you are not a sweet cravings, i might suggest you to drink before stir it as the syrup is at the bottom layer of the drink. There are seats available in the shop where you can chill-out with friends while enjoying this typical Taiwan milk tea. continue reading

I am quite fussy and particular with Caramel Milk Tea's taste as I always order and will try this tea no matter which tea house I go. Today is my first time trying the Daiwan Tea. The Caramel Milk Tea tasted normal. Same like other tea house, you can also order the tea according your taste by adding extra ice or less sugar or others. I have ordered the normal one as I expect the Caramel Milk Tea is already very sweet on its own without the need to add extra sugar. However, the taste of the milk tea was a bit disappointing. The milk tea was not cold enough and also not thick enough. I feel that the caramel is not enough. I can only taste the caramel but not thick. The taste of the drink is not sweet and really a very normal drink. The shop has space / tables and chairs for you to rest there. They only sell beverages and some tidbits. They provide free Wi-Fi service too. Students can enjoy 40% discount with their student cards shown to the cashier at the counter. continue reading
