Besides getting yourself spoilt by the vast array of steamboat dishes, you would also be equally amazed by its splendid Special Blending of Sauces. There are about 8 types of them, namely Minced Beef Sauce (Suitable for noodle & rice), Minced Beef Sauce (uitable for noodle & rice), Tom Yam Sauce (for seafood), Sweet Sauce (for all generally), Thai Chilli Sauce (for seafood and chicken), Hong Kong Chilli Sauce ( best for meats and seafood), Fermented Bean Curd Sauce ( ideal for vegetable, meat and seafood), Hawaii Sauce ( for meats and seafood) and Taiwanese Satay Sauce( great for chicken, pork loin and vegetables). Among them, the best mix would be the Fermented Bean Curd Sauce with Hong Kong Chilli Sauce. This pairing is superb especially when eaten with cooked pork meat. Just fantastic! But do go easy on the Fermented Bean Curd Sauce, for it could be quite salty if taken too much individually. Another equally mouthwatering is the Taiwanese Satay Sauce, that I enjoy with lots of scallions to enhance the flavor. Indeed unique and eye-opening gastronomically.

Those who love steamboat should come here and give a try the shabu shabu.For the soup, we ordered chicken soup and for the ingredients, we have noodles, sea shell, crab meat, some meat and fish balls, prawns, chicken and etc.Putting all this into the soup it make the soup more tasty with seafood sweetness.The taste was very good as the ingredients are fresh.Nice.

Plus One Shabu Shabu is located at the first floor of One Utama Shopping Centre. Shabu Shabu is one of the Japanese style steamboat where each person will have their own mini steamboat, not like Chinese style where all the people sharing the same steamboat. The environment is nice and comfortable, kind of high end. They are having promotion during weekdays, from 11am to 5pm which offers 7 choices of set. The soup is complimentary if you order any of the set and there are 7 choices of soup to choose from which include Coriander & Perserved Egg, Chiu Chow, Thai Tomyum, Fish, Corn & Carrot, White Fungus Papaya and Japanese Miso. There are more than 5 sauce to choose from and personally I like the Satay sauce very much. We have ordered Homemade Balls Set and Mix Set with Coriander & Perserved Egg and White Fungus Papaya soup. The ingredients are just like the normal steamboat, which include vegetables, mushroom, prawn, fish ball, bean curd, chicken slice and noodle. Out of all, I like the Home made pork and fish balls most. The waiters there also very friendly and serve the food quite fast. Overall, I am very satisfy with the restaurant as the ingredient is fresh and the soup is very special where you cannot find else where. The price is reasonable during promotion, but i think is a bit overcharge if without any promotion. They even charge RM2 person for the sauce. So do try it out during weekdays.

What so special with this meat balls? at first i thought that it had nothing special with it, probably normal meat ball or fish ball, not to my knowledge that the are all this restaurant special dish, all make by their chef personally.the owner of the restaurant will go to the market everyday to get the fresh meat / fish meat to make this meat ball. if the meat ball / fish ball is not good they will be throw by them.if i were to rate this i would give 8/10

this is another special ingredient from plus one shabu shabuusually other steamboat restaurants just give you unmarinated pieces of chickenyou get the flavors from mainly the soup or the dipping saucebut at plus one shabu shabu you get a plate of marinated chicken with chinese wine and herbsit is very fragrant and healthy for that matter because it is marinated with wolfberries
