Notice www.durianss2.com. This is the most crowded durian buffet shop on the street of SS2. There are 2 choices: RM 7 or RM 15 feast. Of course RM 15 is offering better durians! Most of the durians are yummy! I like it, but eating too much will make me feel quite full (not really full one just cant take them anymore, haha) Hopefully what I have eaten worth the money. With combination of coconut juice (RM 4), the feast is really awesome! continue reading

Went for some durian feast last night for a late second round dinner last night. This is the first time i went for a Durian feast which is in buffet style. This durian stall is located just behind the sea park police station at SS2. It is quite easy to be found and actually almost half of the street is full of this durian stall. Here you can either choose to take the fifteen ringgit buffet and the seven ringgit, the difference is if you gonna take the fifteen ringgit you will get to taste those expensive durian ie: 101, musang king, D24 and so on.The best part to have the durian here is where they will open the durian to you and serve it in front of you fresh!you can even exchange if the taste is not up to your expectation. continue reading

Durian is a famous fruit in Malaysia, also known as the King of Fruits. Its pungent and strong aroma would pierce right through your nose. Some may say it stinks but some may say it smells like heaven. Same goes for the taste, some would hate it and some would like it. Durian SS2 (With yellow shirt) served one of the cheapest and most affordable edible durian. Other stalls set their price at RM9 for buffet but the quality was really bad. However, the durian served here was actually pretty good with a few bad ones. Out of 10, atleast 6 would be edible. continue reading

Well, Malaysians being Malaysians and wanting everything cheap but nice; I noticed this stall with its' "Durian Buffet" concept is pretty popular with PJ residents. Well, I tried it once and beg to digress. The quantity is there, yes. You can eat as many as you want. But sadly the durians are of the lower grade quality and not all taste sweet and good. No Musang King or even D24 that's for sure. I have since learnt that it's better to pay a much higher price for just 1 whole durian and slowly enjoy the higher-grade, top quality durians! (my fav's the super expensive Musang King) continue reading
