Very near to KLCC, tourists enjoy staying at Corus Hotel and I find that the breakfast buffet spread here is quite wide with many English selections of dishes. I took some egg omelette, chicken sausage as well as potato cubes. They are served warm, and quite heavy in taste. I find that the potatoes are really good with some salty tangy flavours, besides being a good kickstart for the day. For the egg, i enjoy the bacon bits and capsicum cuts in it, which reveals hints of sweet saltiness. It is simply soft, light and healthy for breakfast. Other than that, the buffet spread also has english pastry, breads, porridge, noodles and fruit cuts. Very satisfying and I'm totally spoilt with too many choices. continue reading

Dondang Sayang coffee house has recently launched it's newly revamped weekedn buffet and introduced a lot of exciting new dishes of local and International recipes.Buffet. Who doesn't like buffet? I mean, hey, there're so many choices of foods, drinks, desserts, etc...The first thing that comes to our mind will certainly be : '' how much ah? Is it expensive? Got promotion ah?'' Well, typical Malaysian.Price at only RM39++ for adult, RM25++ for children, you are able to savor a complex mix of Malaysians' favorites at a one-stop restaurant . This week's high-tea buffe, The Taste of Malacca's Best, is the second hi-tea theme of the month. The local-themed hi-tea selection, created exclusively by the hotel's talented resident head chef Nathan, and his culinary team, offers a cosmopolitan brunch hi-tea menu that incorporates Malacca's best and International tastes from around the world. Diners can enjoy their high tea buffet while be entertained by its resident pianist at the hotel's grandeur atrium.Chocolate cakes!Malay Kuih Muih will always be my favourite! It's simple yet so delicious! The five spiced herbs infused so well into the gravy . I'm drooling while taking the pic, can't wait to eat, man! ;DIt's full of flavor ... I kept digging in the mushrooms! Cause I am a super fans of mushrooms! ;) Nathan's Malacca-themed menu includes Satay Celup( steamboat satay) with assortment of raw and semi-cooked seafood, meat and vegetables on skewers dunked in special peanut sauce. The asam laksa here is wonderfully made. Didn't expect to get such divine and sourish asam laksa in the hotel buffet session.. ;) *CLAP CLAP* well done, dondang Sayang. I think their buffet worth every single penny, it's afforadable too! continue reading

The Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur, part of the UK-based Corus hotel group, is one of the most popular 4 Star Business Hotels in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is strategically nested in the excellent location of Kuala Lumpur City Centre( KLCC). The Petronas Twin Towers are just heartbeat away from the hotel with less than 5 minutes walking distance. World class Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Aquaria KLCC are just 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. Famous landmarks such as China Town (less than 5km) & the shopping paradise of Bukit Bintang (less than 1.5 km) are just minutes away from The Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur. They do serve Char Koay Teow there with the fresh juicy prawns as well as bean sprouts.
