Since there is a sudden craving for CharKuay Teow, we planned to drop by Restaurant Hock Seng Two for lunch as it alsorecommended by Mr. Google for their Char Kuay Teow. The restaurant sells a wideVarity of foods likes Curry Mee, Wantan Noodle, Chicken Rice, Chee Cheong Fun,Claypot Yee Mee, Economy Rice, Chicken Rice and Char Kuay Teow. The restaurantwas crowded with people when we arrived but the crowd started to slow downaround 3pm as most of the stalls starts to close their stall. We ordered 2 CharKuay Teow and Claypot Yee Mee.Char Kuay Teow was served with generousamount of Prawn, Taugeh and Kerang and the best thing is the Char Kuay Teowtasted so delicious that you don’t need any seasoning to eat with it. I lovedthem.Clay pot Yee Mee was served with crabstick, fish balls, vegetables, and egg. They have a good yee mee flavour in the soup but it needs some chillies to give a kick to the food.It was a nice & hot lunch for us. We have to park our car at the other end of the road since we cannot find a car parking nearby and have to walk under the HOT sun for 10 minutes. The foods are served quick and reasonably priced. It can be a good place for a quick lunch if you manage to find car parking nearby without roaming for it. The total bill for the food was RM 18.50Restaurant Hock Seng Two46, Jalan SS2/66,47300 Petaling JayaSelangor continue reading

Prawn Mee. The prawn mee consisted of kangkung, hard boiled egg, beansprouts, chicken slices, prawns and deep fried onions. The prawn mee broth was quite spicy and thin too. It would be better if it was a thicker broth. It does have some prawn taste in the broth. The deep fried onions added some fragrance to noodle. The saltiness was just right. The prawns were small size. continue reading
