Signature Dishes
It was a long day of shopping solo, and I was tired. I just wanted some filling "trash food"; i.e. food that wasn't particularly great, but somehow still satisfying enough. Price tags at MFM didn't justify the mediocre food, but there was 20% off for CIMB cardholders, so I went for it.As expected, food was mediocre, but strangely satisfying. Rice was too salty, fish was a bit fishy (frozen fish syndrome), and vegetables were bland. Yet, I enjoyed the freshly-cooked hotness of the food, the relative-freshness of the vegetables, and the texture of the rice.Good meal? Questionable. But I still left satisfied.

Besides all the fishy dish, Manhattan fish market provide snacks ,appetizer and beverage as well.I tried their 'chowder of the day" soup , which cost Rm7.90.The soup thicken by the abundance of clam and seafood that dissolve inside.It is creamy and rich with delicacies inside, which gives a very intense chowder flavour in this one. You can found fresh shrimp, squid and clams that cut in pieces in the soup.However the portion is small, the soup only filled up 3 quater of the paper bowl.

came here to the fish manhattan in ipc shopping mall. and they actually have another outlet here. they are offering tea set promotion during weekdays only.so cheap price range from RM 3 only for a cup of the cappuccino and i can get the small cup and very creamy and thick cappucino with the nice design on top of the drinks. so worth the value during tea break here and also the pasta up to only RM 15.

Menus were given to us the moment we sat down but it took quite some effort trying to call the waiter to take my order. It was almost like nobody dared to look at the customers so they didn't have to work! The one who saw us waving called another waiter (who's busy with another table) to take our order even though he was free.A dish was almost wrongly served to us but in the end, the salad arrived first. I realized that they didn't prepare any eating utensils for us..Then the waiter approaches us, mumbles something and sets the pan on fire right before our eyes.The flame was concentrated on the prawns (yummiest part of dinner!). Dory fish a lil tasteless (btw, where's our lemon?), carrots & broccoli way undercooked and too hard. The veges look very dry too like they've been left in the open for some time.The salmon dish arrived last. At this point, I was still left wondering if I'm supposed to eat with my hands... Usually the utensils are prepared before the dishes actually arrive at the table.We asked for more butter sauce for the salmon and actually had to ask thrice. A couple of waiters came to us and I'm not even sure if they speak English! Veges were horrid (they're from the same batch) but rice was really fragrant. Salmon was alright..Bleh.. Don't think I'll be returning to the Manhattan Fish Market there but the service is much better in other branches.

Today is my mom birthday, we are select here to celebrate her birthday, The Manhattan FISH MARKET serve highest quality seafood, im very sure she will like it^^I special like their seafood platter, many of fresh seafood and cheese flamed in front of us!Tropical Breeze MocktailsGiant Fried Platter Just good for 2-3 people, golden fried shrimps, calamari, fish nuggets and country mushrooms, garlic herb rice and chips, Broccoli and carrots...its so delicious, just 1 thing too oily coz all fried food...
