I walked throughout the mall looking for food to eat. Initially I went to this cafe but later went round and round the whole mall and finally came back to this place. I was tempted to order the Thai Char Koay Teow but decided against it as usually this is THE DISH that determine the Thai-ness of the food. So in the end, I decided to give it a chance and ate Thai Seafood Green Laksa (RM 15.90) which turned out to be the best choice of all. The laksa was very thick and fragrant and I had not regrets ordering it. There were so many ingredients inside especially the tender fish, 2 big prawns and so many cuttlefish! The soup was totally swimming with the ingredients. The Laksa rice noodles were also amazing and soft. The green curry is so delicious and spicy too, and very thick and tasty. The only downside is the big fat potatoes which were not cut into smaller portions. My friend ordered the Massaman Chicken Curry with Pancake (RM 15.90) which came with a big chicken drumstick and thigh. The curry is very thick and delicious but lacks the spice kick. The chapati that came with it was actually called 'pancake' but it was just nice, thin enough and not too oily. The Thai Herbal drink (RM 5.90) was just ok. Not too sweet but lacks the fragrant taste I seek in Thai drinks. My friend ordered the Lemon Grass Tea Drink (RM 4.90) which was very fragrant and delicious. We are definitely making a comeback to try the Thai Char Koay Teow which shall determine the Thai originality. But that is for another story. I am kind of bankrupt now with the RM 46.85 bill including 10% tax in a normal cafe! Oh ya, for the Muslims, this place is halal. continue reading

Ever since my trip to Bangkok, I've been in love with Thai tea. This reminded me so much of them and it tasted exactly like the ones I had there. Love it! !!!!! Can't stop nomming this salad once it was served! My favourite thai mango salad was the one in Johny's Steamboat but I think this is currently my No. 1 now! It doesn't have dried shrimps, and I like it that way. It would be heaven if they sprinkle more peanuts.Don't let the colour of the soup fool you like it did to me. I used to judge the spiciness by the red-ish colour but never again. The soup was super spicy and sour! So much flavor and it was very appetizing. A great way to start before the main dish. One of my favourite food. It doesn't leave much of an impression on me. But never the less, it was pretty darn good.A little sweet, sour and nutty flavor. Salivating while looking at this dish. It was just okay for me but definitely go great with the Tom Yam soup! continue reading

Thai Express is a great place to get a dine of the Thai Delights and recently the outlet had their menu change. There also have the famous Phat Thai which is the Phat Tai Talay. The cooking style here is a bit different from many places as they have much more “wok hei”. The Phat Thai is well stir fried with the seafood with it. The portion is quite a reasonable one and it is lovely to be shared together.Price: RM 15.90 continue reading

We were having our dinner in Thai Express here in The Curve! We prefer to sit inside rather than outside due to hot weather. Cooling air condition will be the best choice for the environment here! Overall they are clean and staff are friendly too!I have ordered a famous Thai food - Fried noodle comes along with lime, small pcs of peanuts, red chili, soy sauce green chili too!! All time my favourite noodle of this!! So awesome!! Will visit again and the offer reasonable price too! continue reading

i don't think this dessert is actually found in thailandi think this is a fusion of malaysian and thailand dessertthe cendol is very rich in coconut milkthe thai influence comes from the shredded jack fruit pieces as well as the red ruby chestnuts adviced to actually stir your drink well before consuming because the green cendol and red rubies are at the bottom of the drink continue reading
