Penang Famous Road has a numerous types of special local penang food.Assam LaksaThis assam laksa is very delicious. The soup is very neat and tasty. The mee is very smooth as it is cooked with the just right timing. The fish like thingy is also very fresh. I can eat two bowls of this as it is very tasty. continue reading

Decided to go vegetarian today... Well, almost succeeded until I saw the otak-otak sitting on the stall's shelf. There you go, my not-so-economy rice now consist of otak-otak, brinjal & 'diamond' shaped vegetable. The otak-otak is just wonderful with plenty of juicy 'meat' in it & a small chunk of fish meat. The brinjal is stir fried with chili but luckily it's not spicy, just gives it the flavour. The other vegetable was also cooked with chili but that was quite spicy for me but still tasted good... continue reading

The coffeeshop is located at the front row of the Bukit Jambul complex and it has a lot of things to try as well. Asam laksa is usually available from 11 am onwards. It is said to be the famous Air Itam laksa (outlet) . The laksa is full of fishes and slightly spicy and have some sweetness in it. continue reading
