One of the famous Loh Mee is locaed at the Bee Hooi Coffeeshop which give us an alternative of another nice and delighting Loh Mee. The stall is opened for morning session as well as the night session. The loh mee here is nice and with a not too extreme starchy one but the taste is simply delightingThe overall of the loh mee is a thumb up. Nice. it comes with mee as well as some pork on top and some slices of egg. It is nicer when it serves with garlic.Taste: 4/5Price: RM3.50 continue reading

Recently went to Penang for food hunting with my friends and we found this coffeeshop which has many Penang's famous food.We ordered the Fried Oyster (Oh Chien) as it is a must to eat in Penang! The fried oyster took some time to arrive, as we were among the first customers and the cook was still preparing the ingredients and heating up the pan.But once it arrived, we awed at the size of the oyster, as we would rarely find such big oysters in KL. The taste is quite good, as expected from a famous coffeeshop in George Town. The mixture of starch and egg was well done too. In fact, I feel that they actually added more eggs than starch, making the dish full of eggy goodness! This dish is worth recommending, and I wouldn't mind coming for this fried oyster the next time I come to George Town. continue reading

Bee Hooi coffeeshop is located along Jalan Burmah, next to EON bank. It is right across Bellisa Row. Sometimes we go there for dinner when we really do not know where to eat. Last time, i usually go to Bee Hooi for the authentic laksa and the Kerabu Bihun as well as their morning economy rice which is really nice and recommended.Penang Asam Laksa and Popiah is one of the famous one here which serves a nice and delighting Penang food. The stall usually open quite late, which is about 8 pm but it will finish by 10 pm most of the time. The stall here is serving a delighting asam laksa and popiah which is a MUST for me whenever i am in Penang continue reading
