Was looking around for a suitable dining place to have lunch with the family when we saw that Next Stop had a number of patrons. The dishes on the menu looked interesting so we decided to have our lunch there. Couldn't really make up our mind on what to eat so at last we decided on the set lunch which comprises of one pork dish (home-style/pumpkin/marmite), tofu and vegetables (kailan/kangkung) for 2/3 pax at just RM 29.90! We chose the pork cooked in pumpkin sauce and also kailan. Not only that we ordered a pot of tea at just RM 4.50. There are several flavours for the tea which is red dates/ginger/green tea/apple/peach/mango/etc. Since mum was not feeling well, we chose the ginger tea. The tea came really fast and it was quite a huge pot. The ginger was well incorporated into the tea and it really helped my mum's cold. Next we waited for our meal and we saw the table next to us ordered the same set as us but with different pork dish and the portion was really huge In just 10 to 15 minutes, the dishes arrived. First the pork dish which was the spare ribs cooked with pumpkin sauce, lemongrass, curry leaves and cili padi. The dish was so aromatic and we couldn't wait to dig in! They also served us three plates of rice and a big bowl of wintermelon soup which was included in the set meal. Please keep in mind for the 2/3 pax meal, they will serve you either 2 or 3 plates of rice depending on the number of people eating. Next came the tofu which was silky smooth with fried shallots and spring onion doused with loads of soy sauce which was slightly sweeter compared to the conventional soy sauce. The kailan came next and it was cooked to perfection with tons of garlic and fragrant oyster sauce. It was not overcooked which I hate and was still crunchy *thumbs up* The set meal is really worth the money you pay and can really feed three people sufficiently! So what are you waiting for? Head on to the nearest Next Stop Station and try out their other dishes! The portion that they serve for their ala-carte can really feed two people! continue reading

First of all, this is a non-halal place with very exotic pork dishes. I have no idea until I start browsing through their menu. It is somewhat a bit rare to find dishes like these in a mall. That’s right; the IOI next stop is located in the IOI mall Puchong. It is a fusion concept and you’ll find, one serving Chinese dish meals, soups, steaks and grills, fries, and some local delights. Upon entering, I’m attracted to the wall. There was a huge menu on the wall with some lovely photos of the food.Salted fish and pork rice here is delicious. Pork lovers may not like it because it was pork’s lean meat, which may be a little too hard if over-cooked. But this dish is ok and there are lots of gravy for those not liking their rice to be too dry. Then there is the pork stomach pepper soup which I think is not hot and spicy at all. It could probably because I like it real hot and spicy. It would be nice if they would boil it with more white pepper.Having order all that, I wanted to try the fusion western. The kid’s meal got my attention instead. Called the Happy Garden, there were nuggets, fries, and foot-long sausage. It is quite impossible for kids if you ask me, cause I didn’t manage to finish the plate..Finally for my usual cup of tea, I ordered Hong Kong style ‘yin yong’. Taste just like coffee. continue reading

We are in IOI Mall and it is nothing special about the mall as we are there to get some baby stuff. There is nothing much to walk and shop. So, as we move around,we headed to the shop by the name of Next Stop at IOI Mall. The restaurant is simply packed with people and looking at the menu, there is a variety of dishes they served. They do have desserts and rice set.Sweet & Sour Fish rice is one of our order. The sauce is plentiful and the fish is being deep fried and topped with th sweet and sour sauce. The dish is quite good in its taste except the rice is slightly hard.Taste : 3/5Price: RM 9.90 continue reading

曾经说过,好吃的鱼头米粉很难找,尤其是在KL这城市。很意外地让我在IOI MALL里找到一间卖很不错的鱼头米粉restaurant.这店名很特别,叫next stop。位于mc donald跟kfc附近, old wing。这里的鱼头米粉汤底不错,白色的奶色,带着淡淡的酸味。让人很开胃的感觉。但鱼头必须趁热吃,不然软了就变不好吃了。 continue reading
