I like soups, but I love steamboats. I love the fact that we can all cook our food in a single pot and share among your family and friends while spending quality time with them. The fact that we could all sit together and wait for our food in the soup is amazingly warm. That is of course, if it is an air conditioned restaurant or if it is a rainy day, when the weather is cooling and breezy. Tasty pot happens to fulfill this apart from the amazing choices of types of soup bases.This buffet style steamboat offers a wide variety of steamboat ingredient. You name it, 80% of the time they are most likely to have it. The ingredients are very fresh and they also offer barbeque and grill. You might have to be in a very long queue after picking up your desired BBQ ingredients. Some wouldn’t mind doing that but I personally didn’t like that. There is a great variety of fresh seafood including crab, oyster, clams, prawns, mussels, cockles, bamboo clam, scallop and fish.Apart from fresh seafood, there is also a great variety of vegetables. Assorted plants of leaves, roots, flower, and fruits are non stop being refill for the customers.My favorite corn of all sizes and fungus of all varieties were to my liking, especially in the herbal soup.Processed meats are never lack of choices. Fishes, chickens, prawn, squid, and crab processed meatballs. My favorite is the chicken meatball with cheese. It goes well in tom yumsoup base.

Mantao. Apart from the huge varieties of steamboat materials and a few signature items, I would say that their mantao was quite spectacular too. The size was not too big but being deep fried till crispy on the outside, but still maintained its softness on the inside. I just like to eat this just as it is without dipping into other sauce. The mantao itself was a little bit salty.

Always just drink soya bean but never thought of it can cook food. Thanks for the inovation thinking of the owner. The soya bean pot here is something I quite like and enjoy. The soya soup taste slightly different from the soya we usually drink. The soya here taste sweeter in a different way. Normally I come here I choose soya soup base and also herbal soup base. Because this tow soup base, I able to taste the original taste of all the ingredients like the prawns. Ingredients here are quite fresh.

went here to eat steamboat. i know about tasty pot because i have go to their outlet at Icity shah alam several times. but the one at ICity is not big as at Sunway outlet.steamboat buffet..price RM26++ for adult. Eat all you can..they serve so many things such as fish balls, chicken balls, seafood. not only seafood stuff but they are also serve fried chicken wings, fried rice, fried mee, fried chicken. i can say that their food was okay. many choices. for a big eater person, it is recommended to eat here.

Best known around Sunway where we have to que up for a long time to get a place in the restaurant.The restaurant itself have three floor, where one floor can accomodate around 10 to 15 tables with air condition. Not that hot while eating steamboat. I had order their best, Tom Yam, and Chicken Soupoverall, i still felt their fresh ingredient are better, the soup based are still normal. And one of their specialty and where everyone is surprise on how people there actually grab thisfor your information, this one is actually finish within one minutes, the size of the serving is one big tray. Imagine how fast it is
