in bangsar village we can really find good quality of food here. what i like the most when dine in in bangsar area is the quality of food and also the quiet place and environment. just a little peaceful compare to other shopping mall in klang valleyparking is hard to find here , need to wait for some one to come out sometime. so this round manage to try on canoodling and this place is really cool. many people dine in and the menu is just like normal asian food, noodle and rice and some menu of the salad. but the price is rather high, but the quality is there. big portion and also the taste is goodthe dried loh shu fan is delicious. the noodle is good and the sauce they use and the recipe is really tasty. service is not too bad and pleasant looking continue reading

It's A Noodle Bar was supposed to have opened last December, using an entirely different name (Canoodling). After constant postponements, the restaurant is finally up and running this week, located beside its sister outlet, For Goodness Sake. Naturally, this place specializes in noodles, with 10 recipes ranging from Assam Laksa and Dry Pan Mee to Dan Dan Mien and Braised Beef Brisket Noodles. Indonesian Baba Noodles, with chicken, potatoes & eggplant in curry. A big, hearty bowl, though the curry tasted too much like the watery ones that come with roti canai. Fish Fillet "VerMIcelli," with beehoon & snapper fish in soybean soup. A fascinating twist compared to the typical fish noodles, with the soybean providing a healthier flavour. Man cannot live on noodles alone, so It's A Noodle Bar also provides light bites and salads. Their starter of fresh raw salmon with crunchy onions, cucumber, pomegranate & pineapple relish was a creatively concocted, well-presented platter. Two types of shochu: Kaikouzu (sweet potato) & Ko-tamba (chestnut). continue reading

This picture is the Red Curry Duck Confit Noodles (RM 13.90). It's a bit hard to see the duck but you can vaguely make out the drumstick doused in curry sauce. This dish came highly recommended by the waiter so we decided to give it a go. Nothing prepared us for what came out though! There was a whole crispy duck leg and that tasted very nicely marinated and quite tender. The curry sauce that came with it also tasted very aromatic and full of spices, leading to a flavour that accompanied the earthy flavours of the duck well. But we weren't prepared for the black charcoal noodles! Although it looked very unique, in the end it really just tasted just like regular yee mee.We did find the lychees quite strange though. We tried very hard to like it, and despite duck and lychee being a very common recipe combination, we finally just decided duck and lychee AND curry don't really make a good combination. continue reading
