The soup used to be thicker and loaded with more prawny goodness. These days, without adding the sambal, the soup was very dull. The noodle was quite alot but the side dishes were very little.

六味 RM3.00,Just a traditional 六味 with my favourite 干柑皮 on it.Char Koay Teow RM4.50,I don't really like this char keoy teow, their sauce make it taste weird. Too wet, and please finish it while it's hot. Because the taste of the sauce even obvious when it's cold. Although the sauce a bit weird, but it's actually enough of "wok hei", the ingredients is fresh and the portion is quite big. Some people say it's nice and about the same with the penang char kuey teoy, you guys should try it out.

This is the real "Prawn Mee", with the real taste of the prawn. When i was small, i used to watch my mum cooking the prawn mee soup, so i roughly know how is the process. To cook a nice prawn mee, you need a lot of prawn shells and some pork ribs. But of course, we live in a busy city called Kuala Lumpur. So, forget about those pork ribs or watever, the easiest way, MSG! Not all, but most of them. But for this Soon Lee, not to say none MSG at all, but i would say a very low of MSG. And if you he

And if you heard before the 好易记 prawn mee in Kepong, Soon Lee is nicer.

Since when RM5.00 can't buy a prawn mee with a full prawn on it Many years ago, it's used to have 1-2 full prawn, even its around RM3.50. I know, i know, everything is expensive nowadays. So, one day we might lose the pieces of prawn too.

Conclusion, i will say this is a nice prawn mee, the soup base is rich, very low MSG added. It will be perfect if you add their chilli. This consider is the best we can found in Kuala Lumpur. You guys should try it out.
