So thought of attempting the first trial challenge! It seems pretty normal like marinated roasted poultry from the outside. It has got this savoury taste of the sauce, which was quite thick and a bit sweet. The piece of so called parcel, was thoroughly covered in the reddish sauce with the duck liver wrapped tightly within the duck’s feet. I think by just slurping the flavorful sauce was nice but not until the first bite into the duck’s liver, haha! I just can’t take and perhaps, don’t know how to appreciate it’s heavenly texture. So I gave it a pass and white flag was raised

This stall has been around for ages since as long as 30 years back. Recently I went to get some roast duck from the stall for a festival. They only have orders for take away being a roadside stall. The roast duck here evidently still maintained its crispy crackling skin which tasted really super savoury with both a smoky flavour as well as slightly salty taste. Its flesh was super juicy and tender too and almost needing no effort at all to pull the flesh, it just breaks easily and juices oozing out with every bite. The taste is really further enhanced with their special sweet sauce that has a tangy flavour. Highly recommended and worth paying a premium price for it.

Sze Ngan Chye (4-eyed boy) is a very famous duck stall in KL, and their roasted ducks sell like hot cakes everyday. This is my first time buying some back home as an additional dish for dinner. I'm truly amazed with the duck meat which comes with so tender meat and thin layer of fats. The skin remains crispy for hours, and a dip into the sweet sauce reveals the juiciness of the combination. The thick cut of the duck gives better texture and it simply suits for a simple family dinner. Delicious a
