The stall sold various thai food such as mango salad, mango with sticky, and various kuehs. The one that caught our eyes turned out to be the simple looking steamed tapioca. It was served with sweeten coconut sauce and just cost RM3 which was quite reasonable priced. The tapioca was soft and not too sweet with the milky sauce.

There are times when I prefer papaya salad to mango salad. Raw Papaya seem to have a more sour flavour than raw mango. But the texture of the strips were somewhat similar, very crunchy. I like the sauce that they mix the raw papaya strips with, it was on the sweetish side. They used pretty large size chilli not those chilli padi so it was not too spicy. I really savoured the ikan bilis. It made the dish taste really good!

My daughter was craving for something hot and spicy so I drove my daughter and i over to city square and got us a bowl of Tom yum soup from deli Bangkok Tom yum to share. The Tom yum soup was really satisfying. Its spiciness level was just right, spicy enough but not mind blowing hot. I like how sour the soup tasted. They somehow managed to balance the sour and spiciness level really well so that it gives you a kick! It was indeed satisfying!

My daughter was craving for some authentic Thai food and we were pleased to chance upon deli Bangkok Tom yum. I got the mango salad from them. It was so reasonably priced, only RM 5 for a significantly large portion. The mango was sliced perfectly into thin strips. The sauce they mixed the mango with is a little on the sweet side. It sort of balance out the acidity of the green mango. They topped the salad with fried anchovies and peanuts, both of which gave the dish a crunch. A contrast in text

They topped the salad with fried anchovies and peanuts, both of which gave the dish a crunch. A contrast in texture as compared to the fairly limp green mango strips.

They have a little seating area for the customer to enjoy their meal but there are not many seats available. The deco of the stall is very 'kampung' feel, a nostalgic feel.
