This restaurant serve the best Hokkien mee!!!! My favourite place for Hokkien mee! You can never find other place that serve yummy Hokkien mee yet is cheaper unlike the restaurant nearby that serve a more expensive ones. Try it out with the chicken wing and I can ensure you won't regret. This restaurant serve Hokkien mee that's not too dry an wet unlike the other Hokkien mee that I have tried in other places so far. Their lam mee also not bad!

It was okay meal for us. The foods are just nice, friendly service. Be early for dinner as it will be always full house at night. The total bill was RM 40 for the foods.

"Kat Chai Suen Mui". Since the another Hokkien mee restaurant on the same row uses foreigner to cook, we changed our venue to Tiong Hokkien Mee. In order to cure the heat from the hokkien mee and the environment, we ordered the "kat chai suen mui" to cool off the heat. The drink was a normal one, it was sour with the kat chai and suen mui. It would be nicer if the drink is thicker.

Fermented red beancurd ("nam yu") Fried Chicken. While waiting for the hokkien mee to arrive, we ordered the "nam yu" fried chicken to fill the stomach first. The fried chicken has very strong nam yu taste and it was well-coated with the nam yu. It was not too crispy but it was fine with us. The chicken was slightly salty due to the usage of nam yu. This is quite a fine fried chicken.

Loh Mee. Apart from their famous hokkien mee, we also ordered the loh mee to give a try. When it was served, it looked as though a layer of oil was on top it, indeed the loh mee broth was quite oily. Despite the oiliness, the taste of the loh mee broth was not bad actually, thick, eggy and sticky. The noodle were soft. It has some pork slices, vegetables and pork lards.

Hokkien meehoon mee. Since my mother always prefer mixture of meehoon and mee for her hokkien noodles, so we ordered this. The noodle was full of "wok-hei". It was dry, not the wet version, yet the noodle does not tasted dry at all. It was slightly salty. The lettuce was crunchy, while the chicken slices were soft. I like this hokkien noodle as compared to the counterpart further down.

Tiong Hokkien Mee, one of multiple outlets that specialize in Hokkien Mee on a single stretch of Damansara Uptown. Not bad, though we would have liked some liver in this, as well as lots more crispy lard. No matter: we helped ourselves to a Tupperware of fresh garlic to punch up our pleasure.Tiong Hokkien Mee @ Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya, opens till late for supper.
