Many would have already known that I am almost always gravitating to soupier meals instead of the dryer ones. Having always been famous for their PanMee which happens to be one of my few favourite substitutions to rice, they now offer more than just pan mee as they evolved and revolutionized to serving more noodle or soupy dishes. Raised as typical Asian, rice is like a must but I would like to stick to one rice meal a day. And because I eat five meals a day, it is not difficult to put noodles or soup into one of my other meals.

They are definitely not one of those places where you find the most amazing PanMee or noodles, but they absolutely have the best varieties under one roof. Not to mention how they have established and set a bar for their House Specialty Pan Mee with the popular chili flake. Available in various types of noodle- thick, think, or pinch. My favourite is those thin noodles. Recently I tried the Vegetarian noodle. It was weirdly different but an interesting attempt.

Today we had lunch in face to face noodle house during lunch hour working days. We have ordered traditional pan mee and dry chili pan mee. For the drinks, I have ordered my belove ice honey milk as my drink. Awesome taste during this hot lunch hour. Here come the food serve, my colleague was having traditional thick pan mee. I have tried that out not bad in taste! Where I love the thin dry chili pan mee, add on as much as chili you want! However, the soup might be a bit too plain in taste! It st

I have always been a fan of Sarawak laksa, and never miss an opportunity to have some in any restaurant that serves this. The Sarawak laksa in Face to Face Noodles House is decent, but I have had better ones. The meehoon was slightly overcooked, hence it was a bit limp. The soup is quite flavourful, and I thought I detected some santan being put in, though all the other Sarawak laksa that I had don't come with santan. Hubby wanted to have some pan mee, hence we headed over to Face to Face Noodles House to have some. He ordered the house specialty hot and spicy dry pan mee with thin noodles. When the bowl of noodles came, it wasn't as per the picture, as the chilli wasn't included in. However, they did put a container-ful of chilli for us to add as we please, so that was fine. The noodles were cooked well, and wasn't too soft or undercooked. It came with a generous portion of minced pork, an egg and some crunc

The noodles were cooked well, and wasn't too soft or undercooked. It came with a generous portion of minced pork, an egg and some crunchy anchovies, garnished with some spring onions. There was also a small bowl of soup given, however, they were quite stingy with the sweet potato leaves. Priced at RM6.30 a bowl, it was averagely priced.

Feeling that the noodles may not satisfy our hunger, we decided to order a serving of fried sui kow as an accompaniment. The fried sui kow was fried to golden brown, and was very crispy. However, I felt that the filling was a bit too dry, not juicy enough. It was served together with some sweet and sour thai chilli sauce, so dipping it into the sauce made it better. Priced at RM6 for five big pieces, it was quite worth the money paid.

Hubby wanted to try some of the fruit drink, hence we decided to order the ice blended double orange. The drink in Face to Face Noodles House was very refreshing, though it tasted quite sour after having drinking the milk tea just before. Orange juice blended with just enough of crushed ice, the drink was cleansing to the palate. Priced at RM4.90 a glass, it was quite worth the amount paid.

The three layer milk tea in Face to Face Noodles House tasted so-so only. I was expecting the syrup at the bottom layer to be made out of brown sugar, but it seemed like more towards caramelised white sugar syrup, hence the drink doesn't have the smoky flavour of brown sugar. Priced at RM4.50 a glass, it was a tad more expensive than the ones served in coffeshops. The tea taste was also not a lot, mostly milk flavour.
