Few weeks ago, I brought some foreign colleagues to visit KL, and one of the attractions of KL is the bird park.When we arrived there, it was lunch time and we were quite hungry. I ordered the fried rice and it took quite some time to arrive. When it arrived, the dish looks impressive. It comes with the fried rice itself, a fried egg, 2 sticks of satay, a piece of fried chicken and some other condiments as well.The satay and the fried chicken was cold when I first took a bite! I could not believe it as this dish was not cheap at all! Both of these ingredients were probably cooked much earlier, but only served at the convenience when a customer orders it. The fried rice was decent, nothing special. However, there were no meat or vegetables in the fried rice whatsoever, as it was just plain fried rice.
All in all, I believe I paid around RM20 for this meal. The only thing which made it slightly worthwhile was because there was a nice view while you dine, even if it the food was already cold.
