Every time we thought of duck rice, we always come here. I still remember coming here for lunch on my first day of work hence this place is quite memorable to me. At that time, they set condition that we must order half a duck if we want to eat the drumstick part but this time, probably because they were closing, they gave in and sold us a quarter drumstick though initially they told us they do not serve this.

Thus, we were so delighted when we were served with the Duck Drumstick finally. We even added a small bowl of rice.

The duck was quite tasty. We even finished two bowls of black sauce to pour on the rice! Since they were closing, they gave me a lot of cucumbers when I went to ask for it and was so happyy.

We also ordered cabbage with oyster sauce and some fried shallots. I love the non-oily cabbage which was fresh and crispy. 

The herbal tea this time round was surprisingly not as sweet as I had tried once.

I was introduced to this restaurant by a fellow blogger, stating the main dish were the duck rice. We ordered half a duck to share, and it did not disappoint. The dish came out hot, with lots of duck meat in between. I like the fact that the duck skin was of the crispy nature, which went well and reminded me of Peking duck. There were a lot of meat on the duck rice, enough to satisfy even the biggest eater. No complaints on the taste, as it had the savoury taste you would expect from a nice roas

There were a lot of meat on the duck rice, enough to satisfy even the biggest eater. No complaints on the taste, as it had the savoury taste you would expect from a nice roasted duck dish. Dipped in the sweet sauce, we could not get enough of this.

This place is always packed with people, and the roast ducks sold out before 2pm everyday. To avoid the crowd, I reached there at 11.30am, and we got a table immediately. The skin was crispy while the meat was tender and juicy. The duck tasted full of herbs and slightly salty. The brown sauce was sweet. The chilli sauce was garlicky. My only grip would be the portion is not enough for me, as it was just too delicious!
