Since we are back in Ipoh, no doubt we will go get food at one of our favourite restaurant and despite it being a holiday, we are glad that it wasn't too filled with people. No doubt we would order the stir-fried char siew. OMG, this dish is the epitome of indulgence because the meat had perfect layers of fat & meat which is coated in the sweet sticky sauce that has caramelised onto the meat. We ordered two plates of this because one wasn't enough.

Then, because everyone love's this, we ordered baby french bean stir-fried with garlic. Simple but also very delicious which everybody loved and finished up with ease.

This was a new dish we tried that night. It is braised pork ribs with tendons and... As crazy as it sounds, this tasted heavenly because there's just so much flavour in each bite. There's a hint of sweetness from the different seasoning in the sauce but yet, not too much because there's also a savoury porky flavour. This was our first time trying this dish out of recommendation but we probably will be back just to have another plate of this.

After taking a slow drive down to Ipoh, stopping every now and then for toilet breaks on top of getting more food, we reached just in time for dinner. Since everyone was kind of tired already we were not too bothered with searching for a specific place to eat at. Stir-Fried Char Siew was one of the main and truthfully, I was quite pleased with this. Never would I have considered to cook char siew but this tasted very good. Some pieces were more caramelised than others so it was slightly crispy and sweet. Everyone at the table really enjoyed this.

We also got the Steamed Chicken. Since I've had better ones in KL, I felt like this was only so-so. At least to me it was since everyone else thought it was pretty good.

Another dish that came recommended was the Fish-Paste stuffed Tau Fu. I actually quite liked this dish because the fish paste was very nicely flavoured which masked the weird taste of tau fu which I usually dislike. Plus the sauce that it came with was nice especially when mixed with white rice.

For vegetable we ordered their Stir-Fried Kailan with Yam. It's quite an odd combination because we usually have one or the other in a dish. But the chef cooked this dish quite well and we all gobbled it up by the end of the night.

We found this restaurant by chance and now that we've tried it, we will most definitely be back again when it is possible. Only this time we will try other things off their menu to see if it is as good.

今天叫了一碟清炒菜心,之前的菜都很不错可是就被这碟菜心坏了今天的气氛和菜色。当菜心端上来后,看它的卖相是不错,上面只有一些炸葱扑在上面。谁知道一放进口,菜心苦到不知道怎么形容。

托爸爸的福气今天可以吃到这么好吃的妈蜜鲜明虾。明虾很大只我们叫了一公斤的虾也没多少只。价钱是有点贵,不过服务态度很好。虾来了一拨来吃,虾很新鲜又鲜甜很好吃。厨师煮到刚刚好熟把虾煮到也爽口,真好吃。

因为爸的生日就在这里叫了一条桂花鱼,点菜的人说鱼很新鲜可以尝试他们的菜甫蒸桂花鱼,大家都没意见只好听店员说。鱼放在桌上我看见鱼上有碎碎的菜甫一点姜丝和青葱,一放进口鱼很香很滑好吃可惜菜甫有点咸坏了鱼的甜味。

今天哥哥点了一碟香脆炸子鸡给我们吃,因为他之前通过朋友介绍来到这里尝试到这个菜所以特地带我们到这里帮爸爸庆祝生日。这里环境还不错,香脆炸子鸡像是一碟炸鸡一样,咬下去脆脆的才配上这里的自制酱料棒极了。

这里的手捉羊骨肉也是很出名的食物,所以也是必须预定,不接受现场order。手捉羊骨肉顾名思义是羊肉,而且应该是背后的肉。一条条羊骨会被拿去烘烤,然后再让我们配以black pepper,sweet & sour 和泰式酱汁来吃。 当然,这也必须乘热吃,亮了的话肉就会变得僵硬了。

感觉很奇怪,海皇翅必须在pasir putih的民众吃才来劲,但是面包鸡却必须要在布先这里吃才好味道!这里的面包鸡由于很好吃,所以都必须预定,不然任你付多少钱都好,没有就是没有。 这里的面包鸡, 外皮应该是有烘焙过,所以吃起来带脆,里面的咖喱鸡辣度适中,配上外皮还真的是一盘佳肴!
